I really love Black Coffee. It’s black owned and a black space for people to be and enjoy themselves. If it’s just studying or you come for the vibes on Wednesday night open mic with an amazing host(Guru) who is high energy and positive to whoever comes in the building or on the stage. Hope to see more beautiful black faces next time I come

Great coffee/espresso drinks in the neighborhood. Also good breakfast sandwiches. This is my spot, they have great hours too! Really cute decor, perfect spot for quick meeting and work. They also have a full bar. Ambiance is relaxing and well, black. I'm already a regular. Castleberry Hill needed this!!!

I visited for the very first time and loved the options of the coffee. Very refreshing and uplifting of vibes. Also met one of the owners. Wonderful experience! Please tip the order taker she was very professional!

Visiting ATL soon!! One of my first stop will be Black Coffee. I've heard nothing but great things from personal family and friends. The vibe, customer service and coffee is on point. I can't wait to be apart of the culture and experience. I'll update after I go.

The calmness and service in this place is the most incredible thing that I have ever experienced. I love the energy and with me moving down closer I can't wait to spend so much of my study time here.

Tasty coffee, gorgeous design, and friendly staff. I’ll be back next time I’m in town for sure

Great drinks, love the breakfast sandwiches, great vibe, and kind staff. And the music is always on point. Haven’t been to any of the evening events yet (COVID) but Black Coffee is 100% my go-to get away from my work-from-home set up during the day.
My only wish was that they had some loose leaf teas considering the price for tea, but that’s mainly because I don’t drink coffee (and I love tea) lol. I’m really excited about the expanded menu they’re rolling out soon.
Grateful to have a coffee shop in the neighborhood—especially one that is Black-owned.

@BlackCoffeeAtl is grounding space for poets, intellectuals, students, independent filmmakers, and artisans with generous hours, free wifi, delightful liquid/hookah/lite bites that delight the palette while using its stage to build trust & community during a crucial time when Black people need it most. One should be ashamed of lambasting an establishment who has done nothing but shown genuine love, respect, and investment in this community through their Consistency, Kindness, & Resiliency.
Furthermore in reference to the $10 cover, reading & choice are fundamental as there are posted signs, social media posts, The Option to Perform for No Cover Charge, and a plethora of verbal reminders well before the 8p show begins on Wednesdays. As someone, who appreciates Black Coffee for also keeping space for people who are 1st time performers, ones who are developing their craft, and for a large number of folks "regaining their edge"~ (2 Kings 6:1-7 for context), just say you didn't read the sign, didn't learn the message of community Black Coffee has Always Breathed life into or better yet just say you hadn't found your voice yet... you should come back when you do

I like this place. Happy to have a black coffee shop. I frequent often. The coffee could be better, it’s a bit too flavorful; maybe a light and medium roast options could be available as you guys continue to grow.
