It was my first time in today! I got a lavender cold brew and it was great!! The barista asked so many questions to help me customize it and it’s perfect! Love the vibe inside!

In a city, county, area with plenty of coffee shops to choose from, I've found an authentic gem in Castleberry. The Lavender N Chill is my favorite. Their Barista recommended it my first time visiting (with Oatmilk) and I have enjoyed it every occasion since. The largest cup size (to my finite knowledge) is 20 Oz. and includes 4 shots of espresso. Be ye ready... lol. Or on 1000.
The space is inclusive, warm without being stuffy, and open/airy without feeling cold. I didn't feel one particular demographic dominated the environment over another and as a millennial, being in spaces that aren't boxed in... is important. I want my coffee without a heaping side of (Insert whatever agenda.) In a culture that is big on matching energy... I recommended you be a thermostat when entering an establishment. Not a thermometer. Meaning, set a tone of respect and excellence and that will be matched. This is what I have encountered when addressing even the smallest concern to the cashier or owner: Professionalism, responsiveness, solution-driven... Black excellence. So as for me and my melanated dollars... We shall do like J.Dilla and make them circulate...right into Black Coffee ATL. PSA: All you Falcons fans Do NOT block their good Godly parking now mmkay. We the Patrons are caffeine deprived and ya'll be stressing us on Sunday's. - Empress

For the culture.

I visited Black Coffee as part of an RHOA crawl while in town for business (they were featured on the show). Besides an absolutely gorgeous staff, it’s a quaint coffee shop blocks away from the new Georgiadome and Kandi & Todd’s OLG.

I got the Portuguese in Love Latte, which was as good as you’d expect. “Parent’hood” was playing on TV, and they had what looked to be a small stage for concerts or open-mics. All in all, I’d definitely return when I’m in town.

I visited here about a week ago on a week day afternoon. Parking was a breeze. I found street parking a few feet from the door.

Upon walking in you're immediately greeted with beautiful black art work on the walls. You'll also notice several flatscreens, one playing your favorite 90's black sitcoms and the other tv playing classic music videos by black artists.

The place has a small intimate and cozy vibe. Offering a range of seating from bar seats, hightops, to traditional tables.

The coffee is delicious and the customer service is on point! As mentioned earlier the ambience is really nice, it definitely brings out a specific vibe, which feels like "Black" Coffee.

Black Coffee ATL has amazing customer service! My package was delivered to the wrong address right after Thanksgiving, I communicated that to the company and they immediately responded with solutions to address the situation. I now have the coffee and I'm beyond excited to try it! Thank you!

Amazing black owned coffee experience! This place is a vibe. Did not expect to find such an authentic place in city as a resident. This is now my wife and mines go to spot.

I was in the area and although I had already had coffee I’ve been wanting to check out this spot so decided to get another cup. It’s in Castleberry Hill and I’m so glad they have a private parking lot with a few reserved spots for the business, it is a shared lot so parking may be full. I was surprised by the size, online it looked much larger and I didn’t’ see any merchandise, maybe another location has these items. This spot is very small, cozy! There are several chairs along the bar, a few high top tables, a sofa, and several chairs. They used the space wisely, however I probably wouldn’t work here if it was really packed.

Coffee is delicious, I ordered a seasonal cold brew and it was perfect! I was greeted as I entered and exited. I appreciated the young man sharing what they were out of before I ordered. It’s nothing like having your mind set on something, and place the order and then are told, sorry we’re out.

I decided to chill in a chair for a few minutes and sip my coffee because I enjoyed the music they were playing. Nice vibe!

Great coffee with prices comparable to SB, the staff is chill and approachable, and the setting has a nice ambiance with good, Black music. It has three-pronged plugs near most seating to plug in your lap top (crucial if you want to stop and get some work done like I do). Parking is what it is, any place in this location would have limited space. I haven’t tried the food yet, but I’m looking forward to tasting it. Seating is limited but comfortable (again, small space). If this place is successful enough, I could see it expanding to more locations eventually and I would pay those a visit too. In short, it’s a great, well-run Black coffee shop worth supporting! 👍🏽
