Southern Donut Company Yulee

I’ve been curious about this one and finally checked it out yesterday with Dad. What a great find! From the welcoming attitude of the staff everywhere in the restaurant to the absolutely delicious and varied menu, you have to check this one out. The biscuits and gravy and the breakfast bowl, were both delicious. Looking forward to making our way through that menu. Very happy to have a new local eatery in Yulee opening early for breakfast. Keep up the great work and wishing you all much success!

I've been excited to try this one for a little bit, finally got the chance, let me tell you the food quality is definitely there. I got the fried chicken and buttermilk biscuit. The flavors are complex and work well together, the portion was perfect, I got a nice big piece of chicken on the biscuit and the biscuit was fresh from scratch, very good. The dark roast coffee was great as well, I'm picky on coffee and I'd definitely recommend this one. Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu.

Don’t read my review just go here. The food is always amazing. The staff is always super helpful and kind even when my kids or wife can’t make their mind up. This is my go to place to get breakfast whenever I’m in Yulee. The donuts are awesome don’t get me wrong but the food on the menu is just as good. Chicken and donuts is my favorite and I normally make a trip for breakfast once a week when I can just to get it. Don’t take my word for it go try it!

Fried spicy chicken donut sliders , Biscuits and gravy are a perfect 10! Food is amazing here with a very unique menu. Professional and fast service! Every item we ordered was extremely fresh and delicious. My new local favorite! Ate the rest of our food too fast to take more pictures. Perfect new spot with spacious dining for a good work place or business lunch.

So happy that my family and I stopped by Southern Donut after getting lunch nextdoor. All of the donut flavors that we selected were delicious! And especially glad I got to try the last remaining creme brulee donut. Super yummy! Highly recommend you get there earlier in the day to get the most selection before they sell out. Looking forward to returning to try their breakfast!

The space is absolutely beautiful! My husband got bacon egg and cheese biscuit, he loved it. The biscuit was warm fluffy and delicious. I got a burrito which was absolutely scrumptious. Real eggs, real cheese, quality tortillas. The donuts are the cutest size I’ve ever seen.

For those complaining about price. High quality ingredients are just going to be more expensive.
Personally I’m happy to pay more for a locally owned place that uses better quality ingredients.

Just had a couple of filled donuts, the lemon and the berry, I will say I loved the filling to donut ratio. The donuts themselves were ok, I think I liked the very berry one the best.

They also serve breakfast and will be going back to try it out.

August 2022. Nothing to write home about. Restaurant was clean an staff friendly. The donuts did not seem fresh at all and were really small, a bit more than half the size of regular donuts. Didn't have regular fries only the curly ones. Our food was ok, not bad but wasn't really "good" either. They also brought me someone else's order at first. We talked about it and decided we will pass for now and maybe try it again another time.

I am so disappointed in this donut shop. I have been looking forward to great donuts. What I received was very very small donuts that were at least a day old. I would have been better off going to Walmart. Beware if this restaurant as you will be wasting your money if you buy or shop there!

neat idea. Cute Little donuts, full coffee bar and breakfast menu. You order at the cashier, take a number and then find a table in the next room. I got the Boston crème donut which is okay. Ordered a cappuccino and that was good as far as espresso goes. Got the hash browns which wasn’t that great tbh, soggy and bland. It was strange though, I asked and paid for 3 eggs scrambled and it came out so small it looked like 1 egg (I should have taken a picture) and when we said something to the food runner, she checked, came back and said sorry that’s 3 eggs. We were like uhhh no that’s not. So we took it to the front and they fixed it for us. Again, great idea. Just wasn’t impressed with the taste of the food.
