so glad i found this little coffee spot inside the Writer’s Block bookstore in Winter Park! it’s pretty hidden, located in the back of the bookstore but there’s seating available inside and outside in their little patio. their cappuccino with oat milk is delicious but i wasn’t a huge fan of the chai latte- it was quite bitter and overly spiced. the staff was super friendly though and let us swap it out for a hot earl grey tea. overall, great spot for a coffee break!
I was drawn into this tiny little coffee shop in the rear of a bookstore because of their sign in front saying they had the best damn coffee. I ordered a flat white decaf latte and it was delicious. Very rich flavor - I even had to ask if it was decaf because it was so good. The foam decoration was also a nice touch. Highly recommend.
Great espresso and even greater service! Thank you so much to the young man at the counter yesterday evening (Sunday). He was very accommodating and super friendly. Like another comment I read here, this is third wave coffee quality, I highly recommend if you like to taste a good cup. I got two espressos to go, as we were exploring the area and then drove back home.
This shop was in my list to try and I had not been lucky to get there before they closed. This time I did and I was pleasantly surprised!
I was greeted by Gaia a super nice, friendly and attentive barista. He is knowledgeable and sure does know how to make a good latte. I got a hot one with oatmilk and it sure was foamy and not bitter. The espresso was smooth and the temperature great.
I am glad I stopped by and learned that Framework in Mills is their sister location! That is next on the list!
Be sure to give them a try as you start or end your stroll through Park Ave!
This is hands down the best espresso shop in Orlando. Genuine care and effort is taken in preparing drinks all the way down to weighing and timing shots and it really show in the quality of their coffee. This is the only shop in town that rivals coffee I make on my home prosumer espresso machine.
Cozy spot in the back of Writer’s Block with consistently warm and knowledgeable baristas. Gaia and Rome have always been kind. A peaceful environment that’s very conducive to finishing a book or catching up with a friend. :)
Barista was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu! The latte was pretty good, so it’s definitely worth a visit and the bookstore it’s inside of is cute too!!
OMG latte is perfect! The taste is great, and the atmosphere is amazing! Very good barista, made our coffee so fast! Highly recommend this place for book lovers and coffee lovers! It’s a double bingo!
Unreal. Don't go there if you want to spend your life waiting for them to make your coffee.
P.S.: they said "good things comes to those who wait". I say they are just a bunch of very lazy people who don't care about nothing: not about their customer, not about a normal decency in delivering a product, not even about their own time. These are the people who will change your day because of their lazyness and will act like nothing happend. Just terrible chit-chat procrastinators wirh no respect and no self respect.
It was nice. The coffee was okay. There’s a back area where you can sit outside that could use a facelift but it was nice to have an area to sit down and chill during a busy time of day.
