Allen's Creamery & Coffee House

Terrible experience tonight. Pint of ice cream had chunks of ice in it. ( this happens regularly here. Bad freezer burn. I specifically asked if hot fudge was still good as I have had it badly burned here before, the gal said yes it is good, but my sundae was awful! Huge chunks of grossly cold fudge and I think she put marshmallow on it??!! Threw it out.
Finally, the stellar coffee milkshake I ordered was 3/4 full and I asked her why?? She said they were out of small cups so she put it in a large cup?? I didn’t specify what size I wanted but when I asked what a large cup looks like she said they are out of those too. What??!!??!! A $5 milkshake 3/4 full?? I had to ask her to fill it up. Little did she know we order them all the time and know what they are supposed to look like! Very diaapppointed, waste of $15.

I liked the coconut ice cream, I asked for coffee since they advertised coffee on their website but they make their coffee in a Keurig.
I bought a medium coffee and they gave me a small portion of coffee in medium size cup.

Great ice cream! Great coffe!! Friendly staff.. didn't get to try food, but will be back! We went on a Friday and also enjoyed the farmers market across the street.

awesome ice cream shop in the beautiful little town of windermere. This is a family owned shop and it shows. You see community everywhere in here and people know each other. I see mothers and families greeting each other and having engaging conversation as the kids run and play, What a fabulous place. Oh...and the ice cream and food rocks.

We've been loyal customers since they opened. It is the best ice cream and the best value. Great service. Cute place. We love it!!!!

What can I say? It is my favorite small town ice cream shop in Windermere. I mean, there is no shortage of great ice cream (West Orange creamery for example) in West Orange. And Allen's is the same. Sure they don't make their own ice cream like Greenery but they carry the amazing Hershey's brand and have so many other great made in store cones and mixins. Plus it is basically the only ice cream shop where you might run into Shaq, so you know, that is unique.

Worst Ice cream. The flavors were terrible and partially melted. The tables and floors were sticky and dirty. You're better off to go to Baskin Robbins, Frozen Cow, Jeremiah's Italian Ice, or Scoops.

I prefer West Orange Creamery a few miles up the road, but if you're in our passing through downtown Windermere this is a great place to stop and has good ambiance outside
