It makes me sad to leave a bad review on a small family business but it wasn’t pleasant. We paid 8 dollars for a 16oz ice coffee that tasted bitter and old. I worked at a coffee place for years so I know what it’s supposed to taste like. This was not it. I went to the bathroom while my boyfriend paid so I didn’t see the receipt but I’m assuming the hostess may have pressed some accidental charges.
Also, there’s something so lovely about walking in and smelling coffee… this place smelled like fabuloso but somehow didn’t look that clean. The bathroom needs a refresh and a good dusting and the place in general felt a little dingey

We waited over an hour and a half for our food. Multiple tables that came in 45 minutes after us got our food first. The staff was immature and inattentive. Worst experience I’ve had in the Venice area. We never got our food and left after being bombarded by the awful staff about our drinks that we waited almost a half hour for. I’m sure the food would have been good but the customer service was awful. I recommend this place to no one and will never be back.

My husband and I eat here almost every single morning when we visit Venice. On our most recent visit, they had the Taylor Jersey Pork Roll and you must get it! I alternated between that and quiche for the week we were there, in addition to a smoothie. My husband loves the California Gold coffee as well, with notes of coconut. It's a family-owned establishment, informal, and perfect for breakfast before the beach. We love it here and I promise you will too!

Very friendly family run spot that opens early. I didn t even ask for this but thought it was the best show of integrity from a local spot

Had Pope's sandwich today, and it was outstanding; The Pope's BLT&E
Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo & an Over Hard Egg on Grilled Texas Toast with a side of fruit.. Outstanding. I got to say this is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Eggs with goat cheese sausage and mushroom. FAB

Their coffee is excellent and they had a nice quiche with ham and asparagus, with fresh fruit on the side.
