La Florida Coffee & Wine

Today was my birthday and I decided to try this cafe for the first time to pamper myself with a perfect latte and a tasty bite. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience for me. However it truly had a nice vibe and a cute natural light, my latte was served in a disposable cup and my quiche slice was cold! The barista was kind and friendly and warmed my quiche when I asked him. But the bottom line is I don’t think I go back again!

Parking is paid or further away, but this place is cute. Grab a coffee and a muffin and enjoy the upscale feel or take a walk in the plaza. Barista was pleasant and the atmosphere was calm. Nice afternoon pick-me-up.

I've spent a fair amount of time in coffee shops over the years and let me tell you - this is some of the best coffee I've had in a while! The cinnamon rolls were simply scrumptious and the atmosphere was ideal to get a bit of work in! I was fortunate enough to meet the owners too, what a wonderful couple with a lovely family! I will definitely go again

My personal favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee. I frequent other ones more accessible in the area, but La Florida is my favorite if I have to time to get there. Saying that, if you work or live downtown, it's perfect. If you live in the surrounding area, it's more of a hassle to get here most days during the week.

The coffee is great here, the pastries are great, the staff is great. I haven't made it for a happy hour or taco night, but keep planning on getting there. I enjoy just sitting in this coffee shop and drinking my coffee because its comfortable and plenty of seating.

It just would be nice if the parking wasn't as much of a hassle to stop there like other coffee shops around. But I do get the location and appeal.

La Florida is an exquisite coffee shop with a great location in downtown. There is so much natural light and the inside of the place features so many exciting colors. We had a cinnamon roll which was great! We also had a latte which was excellent, one of the better ones in Tallahassee. Often times coffee shops will burn the latte but the barista here was excellent. The drip coffee was also good! This is a great spot to sit down and relax and is located in Kleman plaza so there’s a nice area to walk around too!

My favorite coffee place in town. The first time I've had drip coffee that is fruity and tasty was here, but the quality unfortunately varies day by day. They have good espresso machines and I love getting cappuccinos. Some of the baristas make better drinks than the others unfortunately, but they are all very nice people.

A short walk from the capital and you're enjoying a warm muffin and a delicious coffee. Take a few minutes and enjoy what they have to offer here.

Love this place. Easy walking distance to the Capitol Building and on the plaza level above Kleeman Parking Garage. Coffee, wine, and baked goods. Super friendly staff.

La Florida is my favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee. The team here is exceptional and creates a welcoming environment. The ambiance is perfect for working, studying, and catching up with colleagues. It is a must visit!

Great coffee spot! The employees are always so sweet and patient. They have the best iced coffee!
