The Kookaburra Downtown

Delicious coffee, kind servers/cashiers, and tasty pastries. My personal favorite is the Honey Badger because I like my drinks on the sweeter side. Their coffees go great with the almond chocolate biscotti, and they even have a seating area across from the entrance to hang out in. Guest wifi is a huge plus of course. Would go again.

I found a shelter in here during a very hot summer afternoon. A very tiny place with big hearted staff and tasty pies. While being inside, I saw many locals coming in and having nice and warm conversations with the baristas ( and buying coffee and stuff of course!) which is a good sign.

Coffee was delicious. Staff was warm and welcoming. They also listened to my order and got it correct. One of the few coffee shops open at 6:30 am on a Sunday in St. Augustine - and if you’re staying downtown, a short jaunt. Thank goodness for The Kook!

Wonderful coffee and service! We visited several coffee shops on our visit & this was by far the best! The young man and lady were super nice and provided great service.

Great tea and Aussie pies (veggie and egg and cheese were tasty). Loved that they asked if our kids needed a cooler hot chocolate! So thoughtful!

Loved the raspberry and cinnamon scones, you could test the real flavors not a lot of sugar and that’s what we loved. They have seating outside so we were able to enjoy with our dog. Pet friendly and awesome stuff!

Thai chicken pie with surprisingly spicy right out of the box. I love spicy so it was like nothing but for a lot of people I thought it would have been too spicy for them. Also if you go later later in the day everything is half price hard to beat that. We will be back

I have been to a lot of coffee shops in St Augustine but this one is by far the best. Now it’s my Go To coffee shop.

Good quality coffee in Old Town.

My family went to two coffee shops while visiting and this one was much, much better!

We ordered: Flat White, Latte (x2), and regular coffee. All drinks tasted good. Prices were reasonable.

The coffee was consistent with good, quality coffee shops. Not the best we've ever had, but definitely high quality.

As a bonus, they are near the Christmas tree and holiday lights (when in season).
