What a wonderful discovery to end the day in St Augustine. The staff was very pleasant .Place was eclectic and clean.
The best cold brew coffee ever!!!! Amazing concept and product.
I wish more people new of the great establishments away from St George street. We have found the charm, pace and service to be much better than on the main strip. More to see than people realize. We were at Relampago Saturday during Presidents day weekend. Highly recommended !

Specialty coffee. If you know exactly what it is and prefer it when drinking coffee, then when in St Augustine, Relámpago is your place.
A small-medium sized space with limited indoor but more generous outdoor seating, Relámpago achieves the essence of specialty coffee. They have a few food offerings (muffins, strata, etc,) but really, go for the coffee. Their pour-over options are varied and always excellent as is also their regular blend "quick cup; " served from a carafe, this is no "been setting around for an hour" product, it is fresh, hot and of excellent quality and flavor.
You absolutely cannot go wrong with the coffees on offer here. The caveat: If there's a line, be prepared to wait; it can take a bit until you place your order and a bit more until you get it. But then, patience IS a virtue after all!
If you're reading this and don't have a clue about what 'specialty coffee' is, then go down to Relámpago when in St Augustine, and have a cup. Maybe the first real cup of coffee you'll have. After that, check out local (not big name chains), coffee houses in your own town.

This place was wonderful. Easily the best cold-brew I've ever had - with kind people as well. Most of the time I find local coffee shops with snobby people, and an overpriced, okay cup of coffee. But, this place was cozy, the people were kind, the coffee was wonderful and fairly priced.

We visit here nearly every Sunday after church for coffee with the family. Really great cold brew and an interesting variety of coffe blends. The Gautemala has been our favorite. Keep up the good work guys

Wonderful coffee and baristas. The girl at the front counter was a local college student and was so sweet. She told us all about the college and local places. Great atmosphere. Will be back!
