Really just doing a review to ask, WHY do you close at 2? I'm from out of town and I work nights sometimes so it's kinda hard to make it in this early lol. But the one time I went in I tried the cafe au lait. I think it was raining that day and so it really hit the spot! The employees were nice and I thought the prices were pretty good. I mean, in most places in Jacksonville the prices are like $4 for coffees and $6 and $7 for Expressos and frappes. But here you're only spending $2 and $3 and $4 on most coffee items I think. I'm definitely coming back.

Yet another nice coffee shop.
Straight up espresso was a bit sour. Daughters had lattes and enjoyed them. Son had a hot cocoa with an awesome kitten design.

We were here the first time on vacation in St. Augustine. We loved the coffee. Freshly roasted beans brewed perfectly. Delicious. The staff was also friendly and knowledgeable and was obviously very into coffee.
Recently we were in Jacksonville and, after having had bad luck picking places there, we decided to stop here for coffee on our way home. Again, the coffee and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend Relampago to anyone who likes a well made cup of coffee.

I've been coming here since they opened. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating but, more importantly, their coffee is amazing! They specialize in pour-over coffee but the cold brew coffee is out of this world. Brewed over a 12-24 hour period, it is the smoothest coffee you will ever have - skip the milk! You won't need it. If you're feeling peckish, they also offer fresh pastries and wonderful croissant sandwiches.
