Absolutely adorable and cozy. Great place to grab a coffee or glorious kombucha and sit and read while watching the tourists go by.

I should have listened to the other reviews and went elsewhere. This coffee shop is super cute, but the staff is very rude. Obviously tourists don’t know everything about your shop if they have never been there. It’s hard to order when you have boards placed all throughout the shop stating different parts of the menu.. I ended up with vanilla latte that only tastes like milk.

Delicious matcha bubble tea and wonderful service. Ordered an African rooibus bursting lemonade for a caffeine free drink, off menu, for my son and he loved it. Raspberry crumble cake was so-so but large and filling.

City Perks is one of the finest coffee-based establishments I have had the privilege of patronizing. They are baristas who turn coffee into a work of art. Their staff members are friendly and courteous. Every time we visit St. Augustine, we always get our coffee and tea from City Perks. I highly recommend them.

Beware no cameras allowed! What a weird experience. My kids took a picture with their cell phone upon entering the front door. Keep in mind we are in a "touristy place"' Before they even made it to the counter, the manager approached them and told them they would have to erase the picture because it had a patron in it. My kids thought she was joking (but she was not). When my son showed her that you could barely see the patron in the picture. The manager tried to press the delete button on his phone to erase the pic.(who does that?). My gosh what a strange and weird experience!! That place just lost our business of 5. We will not go back again due to their (weird rules) and lack of hospitality.
So today 7/12/21 after months after the post I get a reply saying it was military personnel inside the shop! NO NO NO!. --- unless they were "undercover" as the person in the shop was a girl that when I went up to the manager to address the issue I was told by the "girl" dressed in regular cloths (with no military uniform on, with no disguise (no sunglasses, hat ect) that she was a model and gets her picture taken for a living. I told her that my kids were taking a picture of the shop and not her (a bit paranoid/conceded if she thinks everyone wants a picture of her) --- don't ya think? You could barely see her in the photo. That manager had no right touching my sons phone! (Do you get that shop owner? Your Manager of the store literally was touching my son's phone to try to erase the photo!! - look at your cameras and you will see)! I assure you no paparazzi was around either (so, should I even believe the story that she is model? ---- not very famous I'd say). She and the manager at the front were basically the only people in the shop besides us! The manager said it was her friend. What kind of BS is this manager telling the shop owner? Does the owner agree with no photo graphs and for management to grab someones property? What if the manager caused my son to drop his phone and thus break it because she was pressing on it? If you are the owner, wake up and smell the coffee and have some common sense! Also, if pictures are not allowed to be taken of your shop you should post a signs all over informing tourists of this!!

My husband said their coffee was good! My jasmine citrus tea tastes like a bar of soap😂 and their sour cream crumble cake was good!! Good coffee, good cake, bad tea.

Amazing coffee shop with great options ! We stayed upstairs at the St. George Inn and enjoyed a latte every morning. The seasonal selection is so yummy, I had the honey rose oat milk latte daily and I’m going to miss it !
