The place has all of the charm that you would expect in an old time ice cream shop. Their prices are high but satisfactory. I did have the coffee ice cream and could not taste any coffee, but the rest of our group had different ice creams and all loved them.

Cheap owner, no samples, we went to another place to spend our money.
I do not buy ice cream if I can’t try it first.

Perfect place to start our shopping experience at Fisherman’s Village. They have a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks.

We come to this little shop almost every weekend and usually love this place for breakfast, but today 3/5/22, the grouchy lady working the counter ruined the normally pleasant atmosphere. We always order a BLT and have always been very happy with our meal, but even the BLT was not very good, bacon was not crispy, it was limp (yuck).

So, to start we walked in and my friend asked for a sample like most people do and the woman said very rudely, “we don’t have those here.” Then we got our ice cream and then we asked for coffee and she was directing us very rudely like we where stupid and there coffee tasted very burnt and bland.

Excellent ice cream and sandwiches. Try the veggie burger. Great service. Ask for Christina. Tell her OhioKen sent you.

This ice cream shop, in the tourist-focused Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, will have you longing for ANYTHING BUT The Good Ole Days. With a ridiculously limited selection and nothing that appealed right away, I made the mistake of asking for a sample. I was coldly informed that "they are not allowed" to give samples. If the woman had at least been somewhat apologetic, this might have been forgiven. Alas, no. My friend and I decided we would rather spend our money at a place that actually appreciates its customers. I recommend The Working Cow instead, about a mile down 41 ... where the staff is friendly, the selection extensive, and the homemade ice cream delicious.

I have probably been to at least a 100 different coffee shops. I have never ever had a barista tell me that they cannot fill my own coffee cup. This place is a tourist trap if I have ever seen one. The employee was not even nice about it nor did she explain the rational behind it. Will never visit again. There take out cups are garbage. For what the charge they could at least provide a better cup.

I asked for a sample and they told me “no”. I was like, how will I know which ice cream I will like?” Their employee said “IT’S ICECREAM” aggressively, so I didn’t buy any. Very poor customer service. Go to Simply Sweet instead. Very kind. Very sweet, and offered samples without asking!

Vacationing at Fisherman's Village we totally enjoyed after dinner ice cream cones. Staff is great, ice cream incredible with lots of flavors to chose from. Enjoy!
