Great bread and pastries. Too bad we found it the day before they left for vacation in Hungary. Gulash soup could use a little more paprika but was still very tasty! Wish we had a place like this in Colorado Springs.

Great atmosphere and service! The lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful! The cinnamon roll and croissant sandwhich was amazing. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a good breakfast!!

This darling little hidden Hungarian treasure is NOT your typical shopping center bakery/restaurant! MmmMmmmMmmmmm. “Your Cinnamon Rolls set a new bar for me by which I will measure ALL cinnamon rolls henceforth!” I told the owner (who is Hungarian!). I’m in love! The taste is not overly sweet and I detect a generous quantity and select quality of cinnamon in between the rolled layers. Most notably, the texture and crunch. Unlike cinnamon rolls in other local bakeries, the dough is flaky, and done all the way through! And the outsides of the roll have a delicate crunch! And the lattes—oh my! It takes me back to the lido deck of my Alaskan cruise ship! Oh my! Get there early or you may miss out on some of the bakery. ! There is nothing that we have found on the menu that is not exquisite in taste, quantity or presentation! Herbert’s is exceptionally clean and cute as can be. There are not many seats so not quite the place for a large group.

Just moved to area from CA and delighted to find this place! Atmosphere is warm and welcoming as is staff and food was delicious! We did breakfast-the Italian omelette was outstanding! Looking forward to going back for lunch and also sampling the baked items and desserts! Check this place out and lets support our small business community!!

I drove from St. Augustine just to check it out...and I am glad I did. Very nice. Lovely Family. I've got almost everything they had and we liked everything. I like more the savory than the sweet although I had one of the best black forest cake and Esterházy torts. Its an hour drive for me and unfortunately I can only go Saturdays, but we'll be back. Thank you for your friendliness!

Absolutely beautiful Hungarian bakery!! A nice, clean, friendly, lovely little place:) My husband & I are Hungarian, and our friend told us about Herbert's, so this morning was our 1st time going, and it will NOT be our last!! We bought 3 boxes & bags of pastries, cakes, breads, biscuits and other treats for a party this weekend. Everything was displayed beautifully, tasted delicious, and the staff were so polite!! Authentic Hungarian flavors. This is a "diamond in the desert"!!!!

I eat out alot and travel all over to try food and let me just say this was the best food I have had in a long time. The Cinnamon Roll was loaded with cinnamon and sugar and was flakey and delicious so good I had to get another to take home. My Husband had the Tomato Soup and grilled cheese and it did not disappoint at all good flavor and the grilled cheese had tons if cheese. I had the madame something that was Cheese and ham on fresh baked bread with a white sauce on it and a egg and a little balsamic salad it was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back and recommend stopping by as you will not be disappointed. I also bought a eclair and some other desserts to go. Everything looked good and everything we had tasted great we will be back soon. Also the owners even came out to check to make sure everything was good and the waitress was super nice and very helpful.

I just had breakfast ar Herbert's Bistro, The excellent omelet was on a homemade butter croissant, 2 scrambled organic cage-free egg, spinach, cheddar cheese. The coffee was very good with a second pour and more if needed! I topped it off with a great apple strudel! Attila and Andrea the owners of Herbert's, had came to the United States from Budapest, with a dream of opening a bakery or restaurant, that would unite cultures with a love for delicious food and carefully-wrought pastries. So if you like great European style food, give them a try!

The website says they open at 7am…they don’t open until 10am. The lady at the counter is rude. I asked her if she could warm the cinnamon roll…she said it just came out of the oven an hour ago…hard as a rock and cold…I won’t return.

Amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Latte was spot on! Service was wonderful and brought home cheese cake for later. Definitely a local treasure and would highly recommend this establishment.
