Best small Turkish Restaurant in Florida. Please try the
Kraut Rolls (made Fridays!) or the extra delicious
Greek Omelette with real goat cheese (extra fluffy).
No artificial flavors!!! Real healthy food. The whole family is
so nice. I ordered only an Espresso and got a heavenly good
home made almond cookie......

Loved it! Nice little family restaurant with great tasting food and bakery. We went for lunch but we'll be back to try the breakfast.

Just stopped here to have a nice cup of afternoon coffee and pastry. The sign on the fory states until April 4th or 5th they will be closed until 4pm and open Sunday from 4-10pm. Well no one was there and after looking through there window I saw how sorry the floor was. I used to love the pastries. They've lost business here. So sad

Cute little bistro with yummy food. So nice to have a great cappacinno in a real coffee cup. Desserts looked fantastic, but we were full. Will return to give them a try.

If you have not been to Herbert's Bakery & Bistro in Port Orange you need to go. When you enter this quaint establishment you are greeted with soft subtle music, delectable smells and friendly staff ... Not to mention the eye candy in the pastry case. We ordered breakfast. I had the Monte Cristo Stuffed French Toast and my companion had scrambled eggs, bacon and bread.

The companions meal was beautifully presented with a side of arugula and balsamic reduction finishing off the plate. The eggs were good ... The bacon and bread with soft butter was amazing. Thick flavorful chewy bacon. Soft fresh aromatic bread with a wonderful crust. Although the greens were ignored by my companion, I ate them. I am not sure what she does with the balsamic reduction ... But OMG! They should bottle this stuff. I almost picked up a cinnamon or other spice to the taste. Belisimo!

The Monte Cristo was amazing. I had the turkey version. All of the items merged together into a very flavorful combination that I savored with every bite. When I return, I may ask to swap the chips (which I do not eat) with the arugula and have the balsamic reduction drizzled over the whole meal.

We also tried a chocolate eclair and a poppyseed crescent cookie. Both were good but the eclair stole the show. We brought back with us a bacon braid (think puff pastry lined with bacon and braided) and a Coconut Lime Cheesecake (slice). After all it is a bakery. You just gotta indulge every now and then.

I loved this place. The place is small and cozy and a bit hidden but it's definitely a must try. This was my first time here, and I just tried the pastries for now but I will definitely come back and try the rest of their menu. The cheese Danish with fresh fruit was absolutely delightful! The Nutella croissant is perfect for those Nutella lovers. If you like just a tad of sweet in your pastries, the sweet cottage cheese turn over is the way to go. All of them are super tasty, very good quality, and at a good price. The people working there are very friendly and helpful as well.
