The service was friendly and very fast. The environment was welcoming and comfortable. They have plenty of places to sit inside.
The parking lot has ample spots and is easy to get in and out of.
We ordered two coffees and a bakery item. They warmed my bakery item and brought it over. Items are not baked fresh in-house but it was still good. The coffee was a little weak for me but I did order it with 1/4 the sweetener than the recipe calls for.
Prices were reasonable.

Our first visit- our Navy daughter’s suggestion. The people working the counter were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. We got a Poetchino- mocha- a latte (plain) and a cocochino along with a banana nut muffin and a cinnamon roll. The drinks were all very good- the Poetchinos were delightfully NOT over sweet like so many frozen drinks are now- and you could actually taste the coffee. Wonderful! The latte was a perfect combination of espresso and foam. Muffin was good- liked the funky chopped nuts on top instead of big chunks like most. The cinnamon roll was gooey and delicious and had a nice frosting on top that was sweet but not overpowering.
Overall a very nice visit and we will be back often when we are in town.

Terrific mild cold brew. Fun speciality drinks. Cozy seating and nice choice of bakery items ☺️

Wonderful little coffee shop with high quality drink crafting and fun food options.
I ordered the Toffee Mocha “Poetchino” (frozen blended, like a frapp) and a warmed Apple fritter. Both were uber delicious. My taste buds were happy!
My wife ordered the Poe (Espresso, steamed milk, dark chocolate, raspberry, topped with whipped cream), and a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that she was quite pleased with. For the little we ordered a Little Bo Peep (Vanilla frozen drink made with milk and ice, topped with whipped cream), and a warm buttered croissant.
The interior decor was a fun blend of industrial and wooden bench type stuff over concrete flooring.
All parties were satisfied! And we are eager to return the next time we are in Pensacola, FL.

I love getting coffee here! I usually get a blended drink(always amazing) but I was trying iced coffees instead. What I ordered wasn't sweet enough and they were very accommodating! She really wanted me to enjoy what I ordered!

This was my first visit to a Drowsy Poet. It is a nice coffee spot, with many poet themed names for drinks. I got a hot Shakespeare (chocolate and hazelnut latte) and it was quite good. I’m sure I’ll be back for another.

Great study place. I’m so glad I found this gem for studying while I’m visiting my boyfriend. Very clean and there are outlets by every table along with restroom available. The only cons I’d say is that the blender sounds can get loud, but it’s expected when they’re a coffee shop. Their food and drinks are ok. The shop does get busy throughout the day where small groups of people will come to hangout. Noise canceling headphones are HIGHLY recommended.

Always good coffee! Love their drink specials they have every month and that they give military discount. I come here often.
