The Bodacious Brew Thru

UPDATE: So it's been about a year since my last experience (detailed below) and I decided to try again. Things seem to have improved greatly at the Brew Thru. There's all new employees that have been really great, and they haven't been out of any items! Now if we could just get them to open at 6:30...But glad to be able to frequent this place again!

Wow, this place was never top-tier, but it's really lost its way. Pulled in today, placed my order, and they were out of the pastry I ordered. So I ordered a bagel-sandwich instead. Their oven was down so she told me the only thing she had were pastry items - which I had just ordered and they were out of! I tried one more: ok so what muffins (under pastries) do you have? I"m sorry, we're out of those! I really like to support local, and drove out of my way to go there. Guess I'm stuck with Starbucks...

I LOVE Bodacious. I went here the first day I lived in Florida and have gone so many times since. Nice staff, great food and drink options, and a beautiful environment.

They always go above and beyond when I come here!! I love the staff always chatting it up with us or asking how we are!! Thank you!! PS the Carmel chiller you guys make is AMAZING. Only location that dresses it up

T E R R I B L E !!!

I ordered a large mocha (hot) but it was barely lukewarm. It was weak and had the flavor profile of opaque mop water. I'm sorry! I love this little place. It's cute and it was right across from the courthouse (who, by the way, didn't have coffee for the jurors!) and I really needed coffee but by this experience, I can't label this coffee in all honesty.

This is a sad review to give. I've been coming to the Bodacious Family shops for literal years. I remember when it opened up and going for the first time still. Recently I've gotten multiple cappuccinos from the Thru. I've always adored and loved the cappuccinos because it has been one of the only places I can find an authentic and good one! But these past several have not been very good.. since it has been taken over by all these new kids they're really lacking the batista skills. Maybe some one from the original crew should come through and give them a lesson. I miss my delectable coffees.

Edit: it's Feb. 2023 and it's so hit or miss. One day I get a decent coffee and another it's just bleh. For the price, consistency and quality don't seem like too much. There are all new people and kids working there it seems almost monthly. It was nice when people got to know you and your order and made it to the same quality each time. The Brew Thru may be very convenient to my location, but I don't mind driving out of my way either.

But the little kids park is worth the stop alone!!! So beautiful with the sensory experience garden and wooden natural block toys and sand pit! Its shady and even has nature! Almost makes you forget youre right by the road as you relax with you little one playing near by! Mostly fenced off space helps keep the tots and tykes enclosed!... and did I mention the little sprinkler that shoots water when a kid punches the button?! Haha we loved it!! But some might want to bring an extra shirt.

Coffee was mediocre, and food options are very limited

Oh, yes! So good! I got a caramel cold brew and it had an amazingly smooth coffee taste. Plus the caramel and whip cream was in perfect balance. I also got a pita pocket with eggs and avocado that was so good.

Fast and courteous experience.
I normally get either the chai latte or matcha latte and they are both delicious. My husband gets a vanilla latte and he loves it. The other day I tried their cheese danish and it was divine. Crispy fluff pastry with cream cheese filling with just the right amount of sugar.
If you want a smaller menu version of Bodacious with quick in and out service, try the Brew Thru out.

I was working in Pensacola and decided to try something new and local. I passed by The Bodacious Brew in the morning and thought I was try a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The line was not too bad, so the wait was not long. I ordered a bacon and egg bagel and a hot coffee with vanilla. My order was wrong, so thankfully I was not too far away and went back. They did give me the right order the second time. I really did not like the taste of my breakfast or my coffee. I ended up not drinking the coffee and only some of the food. The staff was friendly though. I may have come on an off day, but I am not sure if I would try there again.
