It’s a coffee shop! It’s the closest non franchise shop to me so I’ve been a lot in the last 2 years since moving. Good place for a date or meeting! Great coffee beans! I make lattes at home with their espresso roast daily. The drinks they make are just meh. Never as good as at home whether it’s latte, iced coffee, hot coffee, mochas etc. The cakes and muffins also get the job done but I could make better ones at home. Wouldn’t recommend the bagels but the waffles are good.

UGG.. coffee is so good, chicken salad croissant was good.. the inside is adorable 😍 It's so random to have a coffee shop and eye doctor together but whatever .. get your eyes checked out while sippin a coffee ☕

If you like coffee or pastries and haven't been to Coffee Guy, GO GO GO! So yummy, great drinks and great amount of options! A really fun and calm place to hangout, chat with a friend, or get some work or schooling done at! Big fan!

I love a good cafe and had seen great reviews about this one, but was definitely disappointed. The espresso was very weak and had little true espresso flavor. I have tried it twice since the first visit, figuring maybe it was just a bad coffee the other times, but it definitely just is not good quality coffee. The pastries were 6/10 which is why the overall rating is a 2 rather than 1. If you like a good, strong, robust coffee/espresso, Coffee Guy is not the place to go.

I have loved, loved, loved this place. Always recommend it. But no more. Prices went up and sizes went down. No explanation as to why. Quality has always been great. Service never really has. We’ve been customers for about three years multiple days a week.

A latte so bad it was absolutely undrinkable. The espresso tasted burned. I don't get the appeal here, and I don't get the concept.
Oh, also, when a customer asks, "Do you have any gluten-free sweets," responding, "We have vegan sweets," isn't helpful. Not the same thing, dear. A "no" might be disappointing, but it's an acceptable answer when it's accurate.
Update: I see the owner responded that Starbucks would be a better option for me. How bitter, what a bad attitude, and what a snide response to an honest review. I don't go to Starbucks because I prefer to support small and local businesses whenever I can. I've even given small businesses a second chance after a disappointing or even horrible first experience. But when the product is inedible or unusable and the owner is a class A twerp? Why bother.
Anyway, Bodacious, The Drowsy Poet, Ruby Slipper, Maximillian, and many other local coffee shops have better beverages. I might not live in Pensacola any longer, but I'm there often and drink a lot of espresso. This place isn't getting my business again.

Good coffee, just know that if you order decaf you will never get it. I’ve ordered decaf 3 times and every single time it was regular. Twice it didn’t show decaf on the cup, once it had decaf written on the cup so I went for it. Big mistake, because I was up all night. Tasted fine, just be aware.

I still think coffee guy is one of the best coffee shops in Pensacola, but I went to the new location this morning and I was very disappointed. I received the wrong bagel which is not a big deal but when I tried to tell someone behind the counter I was brushed off and not told whether or not I was being made a new one. I saw a bagel being put in the toaster and decided to wait to see if it was mine. After 20 minutes I ended up waiting in the long line just so I could talk to anyone. I was finally given the correct bagel and did not receive any kind of apology for my now 45 minute wait. I do not believe I will be going back to the new location and will just stick with the old one.

I have been visiting coffee guy occasionally as they seem to have the best coffee (hot mocha) I’ve had in Pensacola besides the Drowsy Poet. The attraction to Coffee Guy was the reward system. After 10 coffee’s you’d get one free. Twice now however, I would get close to buying 10 coffees, and my punch card would expire. Specifically, last weekend, I purchased 2 mocha’s, and this weekend would’ve been one more purchased to earn a free one… expired! No more, it pains me to say, I will not be a patron at Coffee Guy anymore. Back to Drowsy Poet, or the new Scooters! Learn to appreciate your customers and don’t expire the reward card. Such a bad way to do business.

Nice job making the sizes smaller. Same price less coffee. It would be nice if you didn’t pass the cost off on the customers for the new endeavor across the street. Your coffee is beginning to be over priced for quality. Sad but true. Thanks for what you had but it’s time for people to brew there at least it won’t be burnt or acidic that way. WATCH OUT FOR UP TICK IN PRICING!!!
