No good reason to return, way over priced. Ordered a chocolate cake with butter cream, 9" round. Next day I got a white frosting chocolate cake! Nothing worth $35. Didn't even taste chocolaty. Bring a fat wallet.
Parking lot killed the bottom of our car too!

The mimosas were amazing! Food was pretty good but it seemed like you were paying for the experience more. Got a slice of cake from the fridge and it seemed very dry.

I had the breakfast sandwich and coffee. The sandwich and coffee were outstanding.
Adonna waited on me because a server decided not to work that day. I was really impressed. My wife and her friend are eating lunch at Adonna's today.

This is an adorable place. The bakery items will make you gain 5 pounds just deciding what to get, lol. We had breakfast, a standard eggs platter. Asked for eggs over medium and expected a runny yolk but it was not. We also had the croissant eggs, ham and cheddar. It was huge and the croissant like you rarely find them, flakey, light and buttery. Prices reasonable. Will be back to try lunch!

We had a Thanksgiving Day dinner here today. I had an 11 am reservation. The first reservation of the day. Keep track of the times in my review as they are important. Also the meal was $18 per person for Adults.
It was a nice place with some good food but they have some things to work on.
Problem #1: We walked in at 10:55 am. There were already a few people seated. I told them I had a reservation at 11 am and gave them my name. They found a reservation with a different first name but same last name. Not a big deal as they sat us at a table by the window. The tables were kind of close to each other, which my friend complained about.
Problem #2: The server came and took our drink order. They have Pepsi products but no Mountain Dew. The server came back with a Pepsi for me and a Sierra Mist for my friend. His pop/soda was flat. He asked for a sweet tea instead.
The server then took our order. We ordered a starter, Meatballs with cranberry dipping sauce for an additional $10, and then we ordered our meals. I selected the roasted turkey breast, garlic mashed potatoes, pecan crusted sweet potato casserole and cornbread dressing. My friend ordered the turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans and cornbread dressing. We ordered at 11:05 am.
Problem #3: They were giving tables some rolls to eat. All but two tables had rolls. We were one of those tables and we were there before the other tables that had rolls. ๐ฅ
We eventually did get rolls a few minutes later after the manager saw that we didnt have any.
Problem #4: We didn't receive our starter until 11:45 am, which was 40 minutes later. No apology for the delay was given. ๐ก
Problem #5: The meatballs with cranberry dipping sauce were meatballs with BBQ sauce already on them and then you could dip them in cranberry sauce, which doesn't make much sense as they already have sauce on them. ๐คจ My friend can't have BBQ due to heart issues so he was disappointed that he couldn't eat them, so I ate them all. They were ok just by themselves. We saved the cranberry sauce for our meals. The main problem was there was only 8 meatballs. We spent $10 on 8 meatballs. ๐คฏ We could of bought a whole package of frozen meatballs for half the cost. They were just frozen meatballs, they weren't handmade. Also, they should have said they were in BBQ sauce on the menu. They should have served them plain since they wanted you to dip them in the cranberry sauce.
Problem #6: We received our main meal no less than 5 minutes after we got our starter. ๐ค We got our meal at 11:50 am, even though we ordered at 11:05 am. 45 minutes later. No apology for the delay was given. ๐ก
The main meal was pretty good. The turkey roast was good, the garlic mashed potatoes were good, the sweet potato casserole was really good and the cornbread dressing was good. My friend liked the turkey, he liked the mashed potatoes, he didn't really like the dressing and he said the green beans were cold.
No other problems after eating. We received our bill and paid for it at the counter. We tipped the server as she was good but there was just timing issues.
They should have set it up as a buffet style instead, that way people could have gotten their meals faster and they could turn tables over faster.
We were disappointed and probably won't be back for a meal. But we might come back for their bakery as they had alot of yummy baked goods in their display case. We would have gotten dessert there but we had a pumpkin pie with whipped cream calling our names at home already. ๐ฅง๐

This place almost needs a review of the bakery and the cafe separately haha. Let's start with the cafe. I ordered the chicken pot pie with a side salad for 12 dollars. My girlfriend ordered a panini with a side of macaroni and cheese for around 12. The panini was very good, plenty of meat and cheese and delicious. The mac and cheese was average and I would reccomend maybe making it creamier. The chicken pot pie seemed to me as chicken soup topped with a square of VERY chewy puff pastry that I was not a fan of. I felt it was lack luster and overpriced for how small it was, and again the pastry was like chewing on leather.
However, let's end on a high note with the bakery. We also got a cheese danish and some mexican wedding cookies. These were both very tasty. A common trend that I noticed while I was here is that the pastry didn't seem flaky and soft like I expected, more chewy and harder. I know its fresh but might need some work on the mixing ratio but who am I to judge as I know little of pastry. Just some constructive criticism from a customer.
I would reccomend coming in to partake in the bakery with a cookie, a slice of cake, or any of their other sweet treats. But for lunch..... I might skip on that one.

So the mee Adonna's is so cute looking. It has outside seating with umbrellas. A wheelchair ramp to enter. Inside is nicely decorated, with a piano. I love the decor ny the check out counter too. Clean displays. Ample inside dining space. Would be a nice space for private small parties. I came for the treats - mostly the macarons. They were okay, over filled in my opinion. As soon as try to bite off a piece the filling escapes out the other side. So my husband ate the rest. I also got the chocolate brownie. It was huge but was on the dry side, not moist and chewy liked I had hoped. Also seemed like it had been refrigerated because it was kind of cold and hard. Maybe I'll try the food next time.
