You will not be disappointed when you walk in to either side. One has great food and yummy drinks...the other yummy drinks and great entertainment. Play bingo, watch a comedy act or read a book. A great place showcasing a cozy atmosphere. Review by a local Peaceful Funky Hoops.

I hate to give this place 3 stars. It was a great little bar with good drinks and a great staff. The problem was the open mic. It was absolutely terrible. The whole evening I doubt a single person laughed. It was depressing. We tried to enjoy it but it was seriously just a buzz kill.

We were having a great night until we hit this place. Then it was an immediate party killer and everyone basically said "well that sucked. I'm heading home".

Would have been a great bar if it wasn't for the open mic comedy. Yoko Ono karaoke would have been better.

I hesitate to leave a review because I want to keep this place all to myself. Absolutely the most secluded and sophisticated hole in the wall I have ever been to. And Kayla has lots of cool stories.

This is a nice little place. Very few people. Good comedy and really good beer selection. And books and a piano if you feel fancy. This was a good find. They don't serve so go after a good dinner to chill and relax

Lie’bary on Beck is the definition of Diamond in the Rough. A little place in the center of St. Andrews, it’s friendly staff and tap options will leave you with a smile. Their are books for sale, jazz bands, and even a place to relax. Because not many people know of this place it retains its friendly and not crowded essence. If any bar was truly worthy of Cheers theme song it is this place. Whether it’s Becca, Korine, or Brittani serving you, you are always welcomed with a smile and a great conversation. The best part is that owner owns slice house and you can even bring your slice and enjoy the serenity.

This is a little hidden gem in historic St. Andrews. We went on a early Friday evening around 7pm. Not crowded but we liked it that way. The jazz band started around 8pm. There was a guy at the bar that was talking on the cell phone so loudly that the entire bar could hear. What is it with people that think the whole world needs to know their business and amplify when on the cell phone? And it was certainly business we didn't need to be hearing about his future in-law's and girlfriend. But, it didn't take long for the bartender to politely ask him to lower his voice. I love the ambiance of the books and couches in a dark paneled and painted room(s). It's a wonderful place to chill out with a cold beer, cider, or glass of wine. They don't serve liquor or food but you are welcome to bring in food from places near by. Will definitely go back.

Very fascinating little local place. I wasn't sure what to expect when going in, but I was pleasantly surprised, staff was awesome, and the entire place is just cool as can be. Different rooms and such a relaxed chill place. Will definitely be returning. Very impressed.

Atmosphere is okay. Nice book shelves and friendly service. They are improving their beer and wine selection regularly. And they are getting the occasional live music. A definite and comer.
