American Coffee Shop

Went for breakfast. The service was excellent! Everyone was very attentive and very friendly. The food was so good. We bought lunch to take home for later, it was delicious! I can't say enough about this place. Would definitely go again and again.

My boyfriend and I have been visiting this location every time we’re down in Ft. Lauderdale for YEARS! We love this place. Friendly owner, great ladies working behind in the kitchen. Authentic taste, delicious cafe con leche. Great pricing. Fast service. What more can you ask for?

Food had little to no taste. We had a Cuban sandwich and the mustard was the most flavorful thing of the sandwich. Fish and chips was a overly fried breaded fish fillet. Philly cheese omelet.. I could see the onion, peppers, mushrooms and what I presume was the steak, but I couldn't taste anything besides the provolone. I was giving this place the benefit of a doubt.. I won't be ordering from here again.

We have been here a number of times! Food is always great! We had country fried steak and country fried chicken, both were delicious and big portions! My girlfriend loves the coffee! The staff is always very friendly. We love it!

This place is the best , service was excellent food was perfect the breakfast sandwiches delicious and shakes so good. And with the extra space that is got now even better for seating , love the decor . Do not think twice on visiting you will like it very much

It would have been enough that the thick cut bacon complimented the American flag famously..... but the heat of the "mae hulk sauce" combined with the flavor packed kindness we experienced made this a must stop for any travelers who resist the urge to hit any kind of chain resteraunt while exploring local cuisine. Do yourself a favor, stop in.... say hi to Nelson and his wonderful family at American Coffee Shop. The Cafe con Leche is the best latte you will ever have and the food is unparalleled American/Spanish authenticity to its core. Thanks y'all.

Great local place that welcomes new comers with open arms. Classic dishes but packed with flavor. Great prices and friendly Spanish speaking staff. Bring the family.

We are from Daytona and looked on Google where to eat. This place has really great reviews so we tried it. I had the breakfast quesadilla which was good but my bf had the Cuban eggs Benedict and it was amazing! The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend. Also I never leave reviews but I had to with this restaurant!

Very friendly staff. I love the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel. They are serving dinner now on Fridays and Saturdays. So excited to try it out.

Fast, friendly service. Good food, good coffee, and reasonable prices.
