Blue Collar Cafe

I've always loved this place. I use to go when they were in Ft Walton. I thought they were gone, then found out they moved to Niceville. I decided to go once and it was great. I went today and my experience was a little different. I live out past Hurlburt Field. I came out today on Sunday. I walked in behind this couple. I hear them say do we seat ourselves. No sign telling you what to do. All the tables are full. They see someone they know and I guess they say with them. There was one seat at the bar. I snagged it. Seeing that's probably the only spot for me anyway. I sat there almost 20 mins and no one even said hello. As I walked out I looked back at the sign. It's didn't say anything about waiting or seating yourself. I wanted to make sure there was no miscommunication on my part. It was just a menu. The wait staff I saw several times. They had the personality of cardboard. No I'm leaving and I'm still hungry with no plan B. I wanted breakfast but guess now I'll have to get lunch. The food smelled so good too. This was my hands down favorite breakfast place. Now I'm not sure if it's worth the trip anymore if that's how I'll be treated. I guess I get it. I'm not a Niceville local. But I was was one one they were in Ft Walton and loved the place so much I made the drive twice. Not sure if I'll be back. It's a shame.....oh well. Better instructions would serve this place better.

A VERY welcoming Cafe for Delicious breakfast and lunch. Homemade pastries, mimosas and great coffee in your choice of roast. Every one at our table ordered a different meal and all were cooked to perfection.

The bacon here is incredibly delicious. It was presented nicely too even if it was just a paper plate!

Great food, great service, great location. Family owned business that gives you the perfect homey feeling. A lot of the decorations come from the families own personal history! Fantastic place to sit, relax and enjoy some good food with good company. Highly recommend

Best bagels that I’ve ever had! This place in amazing. The bacon is also to die for. Delicious breakfast, pastries and coffee.

Visited for the first time based on reviews. They didn't lie. The food was excellent. I had the BLT and the maple bacon was absolutely a-mazing. The desserts looked great too. The bagels are large enough to feed a small family. Returned to work with sticky buns and they were a huge hit. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return.

We loved it! Very short drive to the airport, so we stopped in before and after our flight and the food was fantastic and cheap! I loved the breakfast burrito

Huge portion for the BOB. Excellent quality and you can tell they really care.

Rather enjoyed our breakfast. Went in around 10am on a Saturday, it was pretty busy, but we, a party of 7, found a table pretty easily. It seems, they're short staffed (like basically every other restaurant post-covid) so our ticket time was pretty long but the food was good and inexpensive.

I absolutely loved Blue Collar Cafe! I thought I'd already left a review but here's what I can say to sum it all up. If you are near Niceville Florida around breakfast time and don't stop in to the Cafe you have done yourself a disservice. I promise you stopping in there will make your life better if only for the morning. Food was great. Service was better. Such friendly folks!
