Placed an order to go for two breakfast sandwiches, it was a little slow to come out. Maybe 15+ minutes standing up by the register waiting. But to be honest it was a sunny Sunday around mid day. They were just busy. Totally worth the wait though. The food tasted freshly cooked and cooked well. Just know when peak times are.

We had breakfast on the porch in the sunshine! So nice, food was fresh and delicious.

I just got a strawberry and banana smoothie here. It tasted so artificial!! It tastes like there isn’t even a single real ingredient in this drink! Also, it was five dollars more than it should have been. They should have paid me to get this drink. Overall, not a great experience.

Got a blackberry Muffin and a white chocolate mocha coffee. Both were lovely. Price is similar to a Starbucks. The seating is so cute outside. They were very busy and got through the line quickly. I did not have to wait too long for my drink either. It would be lovely place to grab some coffee with some friends, but maybe not the best to study since it is quite busy and the wifi did not work too well.

Fantastic location for outdoor breakfast and perfect if you are watching a race ☀️great options and lovely kind service - bagels 🥯 were the best!!!

What I love the most about Southern Grounds is that it feels like home. The more time I spend there, the more I learn to love this place and the people here. I’ve lived in Jax for a long time, and this place has been instrumental in helping me form a little bit of community. This doesn’t even touch how good the food is! This place is truly a Jacksonville gem 💎

Great atmosphere, great service, great coffee, great bakery, great food. It was definitely busy when we got there but everything came out delicious, fresh and within a reasonable time. There's both seating indoors and outdoors. You can order to go and pick up as well.

Always excited to go but usually disappointed by the coffee which is always watery, if you ask for milk or cream it is never easily accessible, and any dessert items I or my friends have ordered have been less than fresh, dry or bland. It's a popular place, but the last three times we regretted going because the service is also lackluster even with a 20% tip to literally just pay at the register.

Somehow they can never keep their mimosa glasses clean. Happened to me so often that I decided to come write a review and hopefully see a change. I love this place, and I think this is such an easy fix if someone just takes a closer look at the glasses after they are washed.

Excellent quality coffee. Didn't see Oatley oat milk so I went with real milk.
The baked goods are very nice- creative and unique. We really liked their lavender pecan bar, and the guava cream puff. Pricey but worth it.
I wouldn't get their breakfast sandwiches again, the cheese was just plain American and they were pretty meager with filling.
