Key West Cuban Coffee

Hands down the best breakfast in Key West. The food is absolutely delicious, the coffee is amazing, and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

My friends and I came down to the Key West for a full week. As soon as we found this spot we were hooked! The atmosphere is great, the owner and staff are super friendly and the food and drinks are delicious. We ended up coming here for breakfast twice and lunch twice during our trip! If we ever come down again this will be our first stop.

We also got key lime pie here and without a doubt it was our favorite!

1-star for AC, 0 stars for drinks - bitter overroasted coffee, foam cups, coffee pre-ground, not tampered in portafilter, milk foam shallow, airy, too much bubbles, fresh passion fruit juice is not fresh, definitely with too much added sugar.

Just wow! We come to Key West many times during the year, and decided to try this place. Our new spot when we are in Key West! The food is amazing - we had the avocado toast, breakfast burrito, and Cuban breakfast- food was fresh, delicious, and the presentation was beautiful- best cafe con leche I've had in a long time. The service is over the top - you are family when you are there - you can see how much Carolina loves being there - she is the smile you need every day - her homemade key lime pie is made with love and delicious- trust me, it will be one of your favorite stops when you're there.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. It is a small place with a few chairs along the wall to eat at a tiny wall table- but who cares about that when you have amazing food. Get it. Eat it in your room. Sit on the sidewalk. Do whatever floats your boat but go here! Sadly we ate here the morning we left and I am depressed I cannot enjoy it again anytime soon!

We ate breakfast at another location because it was hot and we wanted to sit inside at a table to eat. Big mistake. We waited almost an hour to be seated and even though the other restaurant had great reviews, it was mediocre. Nothing blew me away. We should have sat on the ground, sweating and enjoying our food froM here- we would have been so much happier.

Okay- I'll stop trying to convince you to try this place and get on with my review. I walked here after placing an online order. I then got my order and took it back to our room. I ordered the BEST THING ON THE MENU- the HOMEMADE chorizo breakfast burrito. GET THIS. My husband got the avocado toast and loved it. My son got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and loved it also.

My burrito and the avocado toast came with a green salsa (salsa verde). It was amazing and I wish I had more of it. Get more of it! It is not spicy but adds so much flavor. You can tell this food is made fresh and with heart.

I ordered the cantaloupe/orange juice combo and it was so tasty. My son and I don't like plain orange juice- but we both loved this. My husband had a cafe con leche (milk espresso) and I got an iced espresso (with cream and sugar). The lady that owns the place was taking orders and making the coffees. She was so nice and accommodating with everyone she served. I can tell she puts her heart into her work daily. If I lived here- they would know my name. Highly recommend you give this place a go- even if you have to eat on the fly- it's worth it!

We had breakfast here on our first morning in Key West and we loved it! The coffee is delicious. My boyfriend had an omelette that was flavorful and I had the breakfast bowl with chorizo that was fantastic. The chimichurri sauce is spicy, bright, and a great addition to just about anything. The service is efficient and friendly. You’ll love it!

One of the few places that are open for breakfast on Sunday? We tried two places before this and they were both closed so I guess third times the charm? Anyways their food was the last meal we had in Key West and I wish it was the first because we probably would've came all weekend. The iced espresso with sugar and milk was CRACK!!! SO GOOD. I've never had coffee that good before. The shrimp bowl was to die for. SO much food. I love that it is family owned as well. The owner was super sweet. :-)

Outstanding breakfast cafe! Food was great and the service was even better.
