Sago Coffee

I saw guests sitting outside and customers were still inside of the cafe so I assumed that the cafe was still open, and yes, it was still operating hours. Blonde female working the register on 5/28 at closing made me feel unwelcome and like an inconvenience by walking into the cafe. I decided to place my order to-go so that I could be out the door before closing. Apparently, staff shut machines down early so that they can walk out of the door at closing time. I can understand that, but this employee was so rude and communication was so poor that I am completely turned off from coming back.

Nice looking place and the coffee tastes good. But don’t bother ordering a cappuccino. I watched the barista pour warmed milk into the cup and when I asked “isn’t that a latte?” I was told “we don’t froth the milk here”. It looks like a place that takes coffee seriously so possibly this was a one off experience.

I wanted to like it…but the place is a freezer every time I go, even when it’s nice and cool out. I have been multiple times and can’t stay there or cozy due to how cold it is. I thought it was just me and the last time I went I overheard a couple make a uturn not even buy anything and said “it is way too cold in here.” A coffee shop should be cozy and this place isn’t even though it’s got potential.

Coffee was good but it’s not really my vibe. It felt like a free version of WeWork. It’s great there is a local spot for people to get work done but the “I run a small business that is for sure an MLM” was strong with a lot of the customers. Like three clusters of dudes talking about investments in crypto. But excellent cup of coffee! Lavender chocolate chip cookie was unique as well. I’d come back and get coffee to go in the future.

First time at Sago Coffee this weekend. The aesthetic is very clean and modern. I like that there are many spots to lounge and study. The customer service was great and the cold brew was also very good. Definitely a great new coffee shop addition to Jax Beach.

Cool ambience and great interior! I like the vibes there but I didn’t like their coffee much, it tasted sour. The waffle was delicious tho. It’s a shame I didn’t like the coffee :-( I’ll try tea next time! Cool place to hang out with friends!

I worked at Starbucks across the street. I would say the fanciness and prices of my drink and my husbands food would beat the neighboring Starbucks.

Great flavors. The cold brew no cream or sugar was on point for a humid 80+ degree day. The entire family enjoyed the mini outside cabana like seating too. That's in addition to the friendly service we received from the Sago Crew. Thank you.

Quick service and friendly staff but extremely expensive. The atmosphere is fun so if you are looking for a place to hang with a friend for a little and you dont mind splurging for a beverage, this is a nice place
