I've always thought used bookstores/coffeehouses were little slices of Heaven but this one takes the cake! The selection is great, the deals are amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing, the coffee is great, and the people are awesome! Shout-out to Allison for being awesome! I can't recommend this place enough. I've been dying to go there and I was not disappointed!

Wonderful coffee and eclectic book selection! Everyone here is fantastic! The beverages are so good, the shop is cozy and clean, the books selection is great! B's Knees bakery supplies the shop with amazing baked goods for purchase and they are delectable! We find something every time we are in there! Support this local coffee shop, grab a book and take an adventure! Lake Asbury is lucky to have this shop!

One of my favorite coffee shops! Delicious coffee and an adorable atmosphere. I highly recommend the vanilla latte or honey latte! Often they also have delicious pastries that you can't pass up! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Always enjoy stopping for a cup!

Coffee is good, books are overpriced for a used book store, but the atmosphere is nice.

Present Tense Coffee & Books has quickly and easily become my favorite shop. The coffee is delicous! The store is clean. The staff is friendly. The book selection is great and Holly (the owner) is happy to help track down a book you are looking for.

Present Tense Coffee and Books is the best place to chill, have a delicious cup of coffee and have a great chat with the owner, Holli. She is one of the most amazing business owners and hard working woman I know. I am proud to call her my friend.

Excellent coffee, nice selection of fiction mainly, for all ages. Pleasant atmosphere, easy to hang out for a bit with your coffee. I will be back on my next visit to town.

If you live in the area, a business like this is a precious thing. Don't take for granted. Bring in your nicer books for trade. Spend some cash on the coffee. I know of a community in Georgia that literally subsidizes a store like this because of the value it adds. Enjoy!

Wow! What an awesome find. Such a cozy place, right down the road from our house. Love that we can support a local small business! Nice selection of baked goods and a great menu of traditional coffee and iced coffees! So many books to pick and dice into and the prices are very reasonable!! We will be visiting frequently!
