Patticakes in the Village

I love Patticakes! I come here to escape the constant surrounding of a University Library. The atmosphere here is so welcoming, the staff are friendly and kind. And best of all, their drinks and pastries are delicious. Patticakes is one of my favorite little hidden gems in Gainesville!

After some deliberation and multiple trips here to assess for consistency, I am positive the cafe con leche in particular is the BEST coffee in Gainesville, FL. The food and bakery items I’ve tried are also fantastic. It goes without saying the location in Haile Village is too perfectly scenic, and the cafe area is wonderful to study or socialize in. I officially like Patticakes more than Starbucks. Highly recommend!

I love their vanilla chai lattes! I've enjoyed the iced and hot versions and usually have a hard time deciding which one to choose because they are both so darn good! I've brought out-of/town visitors here too and they have all been pleased! I enjoy sitting outside on a gorgeous day to take in the peaceful views.

The baristas are super friendly and sweet. My husband and I come in every Saturday morning while visiting the farmer's market. They make the best hot dirty vanilla chai! Puts Starbucks to shame!

I've had Patticakes cupcakes a bunch of times...it's obviously a Gainesville favorite. Second time at this spot and boy is it cute. What a lovely location and what delicious pastries! My daughter and i love coming here. We both love the Red Velvet cupcakes! We'll be back.

I've been to Patticakes on many occasions. It was always pricey but the coffee was excellent. Past two times I went the chai which I ordered was cold and the cappuccino was bitter . Not impressed. They didnt even have any cupcakes, which I must say are excellent. Best to call ahead if you want the cupcakes.

It's our first time to visit the place yesterday. The service was amazing. The Black Tie and the Red Velvet cupcakes are sooo heavenly yummy! Now i found a new heaven for my boys' sweet tooth! Ended up buying more cupcakes for take home!

Patticakes has the best cupcakes around. I appreciate that they have something for everyone. My kids like to get ice cream after dinner. My favorite is their drinks. I go back and forth between the London Fog and Cortadito. I can always rely on the quality of service and the treats to be the same every time.

Cute coffee shop and amazing staff. I need to nurse my baby and the barrista went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. She let me use a nursing room in the back complete with changing table, rocking chair, the works. She even brought me my coffee and pastry to the nursing room.

The food there was very good. The staff are very nice and inside was very chill and comfortable despite the smallish size. The parking outside is limited but there are other places to park. I highly reccomed it and I always get their orange sherbet shake and usually a breakfast sandwich.
