Flying Biscuit Cafe - Gainesville, FL

I had the Hot Chicken and Waffle with coffee and wasn’t impressed.
I sat at the coffee bar and customer service was poor even though, restaurant was empty. (Weekday not weekend) I honestly don’t mind if I never come back.

A little pricey but it’s such an amazing and delicious restaurant.

I use to enjoy eating here . Quality has gone way down. Last week I ordered a oatmeal pancakes to go. Got home it was completely uncooked. I tried to email them twice no reply... I wouldn't go back here until quality improves .....

Service was great...was able to accommodate my 100 year old wheelchair bound grandma and the staff was very nice and funny and lively even though it was getting rather busy...food was great would highly recommend!!

Amazing! Props to Lucia for her amazing customer service and attention to details. I ordered a to go order but when I arrived, I was inspired by their daily special so I ordered that too. Food was delicious as usual. I misunderstood what the breakfast enchiladas actually were and didn't like it. Lucia was so kind to offer alternatives and get me something else even though the place was crazy busy. Please eat here! The grits are soooooooooo freaking awesome!

This is a great, unique find in Gainesville. They are beautifully decorated and their service was very fast on game day. They also make their food nice and presentable. I’ll be back again to try more on their menu. It’s no wonder this place gets busy!

Used to really love the flying biscuit but the quality and taste has kinda declined recently. The grits changed and they’re no where near as flavorful. Ordered a banana pancake and the bananas on top were disgusting and inedible. The ones in the pancake looked fine but when I ate it, it tasted terrible. I spit out the one bite I took and threw out the rest. Also, didn’t get any syrup with our order. Hoping things go back to how they were.

The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The breakfast tacos with chicken chorizo were excellent.
