Peter's German Ice Cream & Coffee Shop

Just had a coffee and a homemade slice of German Apple Cake. Delicious! My son had a delicious breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Sat outside on a beautiful morning. Met the owner, she is delightful! Will come back in the evening for ice cream. Highly recommend this shop if you are in downtown Ft. Meyers!

Couldn’t recommend this spot more. Such a quaint (and delicious!) find in Fort Meyers with the kindest owners. We ordered two Eiskaffees (basically a coffee equivalent of a root beer float) and loved the homemade whip cream and the owners commitment to high quality ingredients. Wish you all were in Richmond, VA!

This is a must if you’re in the area! The whole family loved it! Great atmosphere and the best ice cream.

You may look at the portion size and wonder about it, but the ice cream is so good and rich that you won't think twice. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality of the ice cream! Can't wait to come back and bring our dog for the puppy ice cream!

If you are anywhere close, getting coffee and/or ice cream here is a must! I seldom take the time to leave reviews, but the ice cream here is excellent - homemade, creamy and son favorful. And the owners are wonderful. If you come once, I can promise you will come again.

Stopped by on the last morning of our vacation and met the owners. They have such a great story about how they recently moved from Germany. We had a piece of strawberry cake and it was amazing. I love to see immigrants living the American dream, and bringing their culture to share with us.

Breakfast sandwiches and several other offerings are frozen items from the supermarket with considerable markup. Spend your money here if you like paying a ton of extra money for the same things you have at home. Additionally, despite this occasion being my first at this business, when contacted, the owners/management team proceeded to let me know what things that I should’ve done to have experienced a more palatable visit.

Despite my negative experience, I would like to note that the location is cozy and clean.

i’ve become a regular at Peter’s. it’s hands down the best iced coffee i’ve ever had. the owners help me start my day off on the right foot every morning as well, very kind and genuine people who always have a positive attitude.

I came here with my cousin and her kids. The owners are so lovely, so welcoming. And the ice cream was so fresh and the coffee was just perfect 👍🏻 👍🏻 will definitely come here again
