We were visiting Big Cypress and was staying in the area. I found this place on Google and we kept driving around but couldn't find this place and finally realized the restaurant was inside the convenient store. Let me tell you though, we travel a lot and this place had probably the best food we've ever eaten. Even the kids thought it was excellent. We had coffee and smoothies the next morning for breakfast and all of it was delicious. Will definitely be back when we are out that way

Don't let the setting fool you. Delicious food and friendly service. Stopped in for breakfast and left delighted. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. Every ingredient was fresh and delicious, especially the bacon. The manager chatted with us. He emphasized it is a scratch kitchen, everything is made onsite. Noting the smokers out front, I look forward to visiting again for lunch.

So glad to find this spot on our way back from our bike ride in the Everglades! I was excited to be able to get breakfast at lunchtime, and hubby enjoyed his Floboy. We also had to try the coffee and donuts! The staff and owner were really nice and told us a little about the place, and we even found a “local” who is also from Illinois! It’s a little hidden away in the store, so I’m grateful for these reviews. Check out more on our trip to the Everglades!

Good service but the food was off the day we stopped in for breakfast. Lots of locals and you can sit at the bar and enjoy coffee and they make a good cappuccino. We went on a recommendation but I think in all fairness they were without their regular cook that day.

An eatery unlike any other in Everglades City. Home cooked meals, espresso, real fish, grits of goodness and friendly staff. You won't be disappointed!

This place is amazing! Of the 3 days my boyfriend and I spent in Everglade City, we went here everyday and even twice on one of those days. All the food is fresh and homemade. I had the skillet, which was delicious, the bacon, which was thick, the caprese salad, which was made with heirloom tomatoes, and the blackberry smoothie. I also tried a bite of the weekend brisket which melted in my mouth. If you are in Everglade City, or even just passing by, this place is worth the detour. My boyfriend and I agreed that we would miss it going back to Denver.

Small, cute and surprisingly delicious! This little restaurant is tucked away in a building with a convenience store. You can grab breakfast then snacks for later!!!! They gave fresh smoothies, coffee, tea and a very delicious breakfast selection. Very clean and cute! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Disgusted with the attitude of the woman behind the counter. Visiting the area and had 45 minutes to kill before going to dinner at Camellias. My husband and I wanted to have a drink and appetizer to try Nellys. As soon as we walked into the restaurant side of the gas station where this is located the woman behind the counter mumbled something to the person behind her at the grill. She started shaking her head and saying no. We were there 45 minutes before advertised closing which is 5 pm. My shocked expression must have caught her off guard bc she backtracked but we immediately said no thank you and exited. It was very uncomfortable, rude and extremely unprofessional. She could have simply said I'm sorry folks, due to lack of business we have closed the grill down for the day. We would have gladly returned over the course of our stay to try it. I would never consider returning nor recommending a business where the employees act as though your business is not wanted. Very embarrassing for my husband and I as we felt we were intruding.

Nice little place to eat. Server was friendly and it's locally owned, not a big chain restaurant. Fairly priced and good food. Ate there twice for breakfast. And they make homemade donuts which were very good.
