Whit's Frozen Custard

Ever since we discovered Whit's in Asheville, NC, we go out of our way to come through Deland and stop by for some of the best frozen custard ever! Lots of fun flavors, but the chocolate is my favorite! 🍦😋❤️

My 1st time to Whit’s Frozen Custard and it was the most delicious thing I have tasted. I mean I love ice cream and frozen yogurt, but this tops it wow!!!
I had the espresso and my husband had Eliana’s favorite (a mix of bananas, vanilla cookie and something else that made it so yummy 😋) the employees were very friendly and so helpful. Thank you!

I absolutely love Whit’s! The staff are always really nice about my questions/attempts to get creative with my order, and the custard is so good! Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

The gal running the register did not apply my coupon to my order. I didn’t realize until I got home. It was expensive. I won’t be back.

Great flavor and a simple menu. They have a really good basic flavor to their custard, so it tastes great on its own. It melts really fast though. Please keep your cups and cones somewhere cooler, maybe even refrigerate them, so my ice cream can make it out the door before melting all over my hands.

Best frozen treat in Deland!! If you haven't tried a Whittie you don't know what you're missing. It's basically a homemade ice cream sandwich with your favorite frozen custard stuffed inside 2 homemade cookies. My favorite is the chocolate chip cookies with butterfinger custard inside. Delish!

Delicious chocolate custard. The employees were so helpful & friendly. They made a pint of cookies & cream for us + hand-made on the spot some salted caramel.

Staff is pleasant, and very informative about their products. Enjoyed ourselves very much. Our boys 17th birthday cake!

The customer service at this Whits is second to none. We drive almost 60 miles to come here as it is the closest Whits to where we live. When we come here we like to stock up on our favorite flavor in the quart size which is not in the case sometimes. Cindy has always offered to hand make these for us and always with a smile and a great attitude, she and her sons always put the customer first. Until we (if ever) get a Whits closer to us we will make the long trek to Deland to see Cindy and pick up our supply of Custard. Thank you Cindy for always taking care of us. See you soon..
