Cute little shop with a teashop/wine lounge/bakery sort of vibe.
We went in the morning for hot coffee - delicious coffee, by the way - and met the sweet owner and her daughter (?) who were running the place. She also personally bakes the cookies, scones and muffins. Fresh, delicious and served with love. It's obvious that the owner takes pride in her shop and rightly so. We can't wait to visit again. <3

Why this place is super worth checking out - 1. It's centrally located and parking downtown DeLand is to be fair pretty good. 2. The fact that this place is actually open on a Sunday past 1-2 pm. Seriously. 3. It's privately owned - no money lining the pockets of a large corporation. Yay! 4. The owner/owners seemed lovely/kind/helpful. 5. The place is absolutely stinking adorable. Comfy velvet couches, cute teacups/mugs, and old world charm? Yes please! And if those aren't enough- 6. The coffee itself was fantastic! Smooth after that perfect initial aromatic hit. Oh yeah, and it has a Gatsby style room for rent, along with a tea room in the back. This was a great find for me today. Will DEFINITELY be returning.

Best place in Deland (and Central Florida) for a perfect cup of coffee, hot or cold. About 6 months ago my wife and I stopped in close to closing time and the beautiful soul running the shop said it was totally fine to come in and have a coffee. We had 2 cappucinos and they were fantastic. Not too strong, too weak or acidic. Yesterday we stopped by and had a Godfather iced coffee ( no chocolate) and a Godmother (with chocolate), and to our luck, it was the same wonderful person who made them for us. If you visit Deland and do not get a coffee from this fantastic lady, you are missing out on what coffee should taste like. We will be going back soon to see what we need to do at home to make this fantastic coffee the other 300+ days we can't make it to her shop. Ps. Thanks for letting us watch the jazz band warm up before their show.

Great service and food. Terrible city though. Writing bogus parking tickets when all posted signs were followed and way under 3hour max. Won’t be back in this corrupt town. How can one operate with trolls costs guests more than a good meal in money grabs?
