This is an inviting lovely place for lunch. I had the spinach soup (no cream) was delicious but a bit salty. The half Mexican sandwich with a side of guacamole, pico of tomates and onions and tortilla chips and of course a double espresso con panna in a regular cup (ask them for a regular cupa and not those tiny espresso cups for a double espresso) Everything so yummy. Beautiful old feel classy place. It has a piano, TV above piano and a pretty garden in the back. The women are friendly and super helpful with menu ..and the good looking waiter is very serious.🌻 even the bathroom sink is old world beautiful.

Great value. The food is reasonably priced (it hits the right flavors without being over the top), and the drinks are creative. It's a great environment to work from (they have wifi), and the staff is super friendly.

Love it here. Delicious coffee and good food. Wish they were open Sunday too!

Delicious cafe, very nice service and beautiful classic place.
The place is lovely with wood panels and brass accents.
The cafe cortado is served in a small preserved fruit jar, deliciously foamy and a straw allow you to navigate through the layers of your drink.
The service is very attentive and make you feel at home.
A pleasant place to spend a bit of time off the heat of Miami's sun.

The ambience is awesome - especially the outdoor seating.
Service can do a little better.
I tried spicy morning - 3 sunny side up eggs with spicy tomato sauce. Croissant was fresh & crispy.
Nice place for breakfast 👍🏻
Don’t forget to try freshly squeezed orange juice.

My grandmother passed away last night and growing up she used to make me huevos rancheros. I found cafe Demetrio served the dish so I went over to honor my grandmother. To my surprise this was not the experience I expected. Food took an obnoxious amount of time just to find that the dish was just 3 sunny side up eggs with a very astronomically small amount of salsa. You would think there was a salsa shortage. When I requested more salsa they forgot to bring it and my eggs got cold. When I went up to the front to ask for more, the worker there was upset I spoke English and refused to communicate unless it was Spanish. I get that we live in Miami but we are still in the U.S and I feel more comfortable speaking in English I hardly have the brain to produce sentences in Spanish in the middle of all this mourning. So if you’re a tourist and don’t speak Spanish don’t come here because you will not be able to express your requests to the staff. The man said he would bring it to my table and never did on top of being rude. My friend had to go and ask for me because I was already too upset by the fact they had ruined this mourning experience of my grandmother passing. It was when my friend asked that they went into the kitchen and got it. I will never be coming back here again.

This is my favorite coffe/ brunch place ever !!!
If you’re looking for a quiet place , good food you’ve to try Demetrio . I been going there since 2018 and still my favorite one . So easy to park and you choose if seating inside or outside. The staff is kind of friendly, only issue I had last visit
was I asked a waitress for water and she told me kind of rude “oh you have to pick it up yourself at the entrance “ . I understand that may be new in the restaurant, but doesn’t mean sense that if they bring food to tables I have to walk all the way from back to the entrance just to grab water , interrupting customer spaces al also my family breakfast.
This is the reason I’m not giving 5 stars , because even though is my favorite , since 2018 I haven’t had this kind of issues till now

The services is amazing, great food. Their signature “cafe Demetrio” has become my favorite.
I had the French toast, I would have preferred more syrup, and more chocolate too. It felt to dry and toasted.
The croissant sandwich had bacon and a fried egg, best out of the thing we order.
