Great latte and wonderful atmosphere. Always a pleasant time to be had here

I always go grocery shopping at the Eastern Market and Radici is what gets my Saturday started. Illy coffee makes it even better! Everything is really good, staff is super nice, friendly and efficient. But can't go without mention the croissant: divine! And the egg in a basket: jaw dropping. Thanks guys for making my life a little better!

Wonderful "Italian atmosphere," but even more cosmopolitans. Try for example their freshly baked butter croissants -- out of the oven about 8 am -- and sample their interesting offerings of Italian (natch) wines.

Attempted to support the restaurant after meeting a really nice staff member at the bookstore nearby. I walked in and the older Italian guy spotted my empty plastic water bottle in hand and aggressively suggested that I go across the street behind the post office to recycle it, raising his voice to say that they don’t have recycling. I responded that I could just toss it after dinner. He then goes “oh well if you want to have dinner here then we can recycle it for you...” (because clearly a person walking into your restaurant is not there to eat?). I turned and walked out. NOT SAYING that this manager / owner is a racist or jerk..but he was much more civil and willing to talk when I mentioned spending money.

$6 for an orange juice. I’m fine with that. But when I take a sip and immediately recognize it as concentrate, I’m disappointed by the trick. The plastic “fresh squeezed” cup sitting on the shelf is a lie. When I told the owner I was discontent, they were reluctant to make it right. Finally we settled on a double espresso as compensation, after haggling... I can’t say I’ll be back. This certainly isn’t New York.

Clean and consistent. Has genuine italian feel despite it being in DC. A little over priced when it comes to the sandwiches. Other than that a great little Cafe in the heart of Eastern Market

Delicious pastries, pastas, pre-made salads, and all the caffeine you can need. Friendly service as well!

Very good, very personal, coffee bar and well curated Italian deli. Convenient to Eastern Market and well worth the few steps.

Lovely food, and the outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day (and during a pandemic). The staff was also unbelievably kind. Do recommend!

Had this bookmarked for awhile and happened to be in the area so I was excited to stop by. There are pre-packaged sandwiches, salads, pastas, breads and desserts. Also noticed coffee, wine, dried pasta and both indoor and outdoor seating.
CIABATTA BREAD - $4
*I don't think I got one that was baked today because it was pretty stale. I tried to salvage it in the oven and toaster trying it warm, slightly toasted, very toasted and as is. All were bad. Sigh.
MEATBALLS - $16
*6 meatballs for $16 is a bit pricey considering how incredibly bland they were, I tried sprucing them up with fennel, ground pepper, salt, onion powder, fresh herbs...ending up eating half of them and threw out the rest. Also there was barely any sauce and it was very thin and watery.
TIRAMISU - $9
*just spent 9 days in Italy and this was the weirdest Tiramisu I've ever had, there was this random thick custard at the very bottom and it was overly sweet - was this condensed milk? Non grazie! Ate half of the top layer only and also threw the rest out.
In total my order was $31.50 for dinner just for me and I ended up disposing 75% of it. The food was edible but far from enjoyable so this place gets 2 stars.
