Adorable Cafe / Market with friendly staff and good food. They've got great outdoor seating and Wi-Fi. One of my favorite neighborhood places to work!

All the food and drinks at this place taste wonderful and you can tell they prioritize customer service. The gentleman who runs it is Italian and just a gem. Two critiques: The pasta is slightly overpriced and…lastly but most importantly…please, please, please stop using the godforsaken paper straws. They don’t work. They immediately turn into mush. I’ll change this review to five stars if and when you convert to working straws.

Truly authentic Italian Experience in DC. Way more affordable than Le Pain

Everything is amazing! And the aperol spritz is the best I have ever had.

Quick+casual Italian lunch spot by the Eastern market. There’s a wide selection of desserts, coffee, food (which is pre-packaged, but they warm it up for you), and basic Italian groceries.
My beef+vegetable soup was nice, but the ciabatta was just okay. I wouldn’t say anything we got was exceptional. It was also super crowded when we went so not the coziest, but it feels very local and definitely one of the best options for regrouping after walking around the neighborhood!

Perfect place for good food! Always a positive atmosphere and friendly faces! Thankful for places like this in the community that provide a safe environment for studying, fellowship and a sense of camaraderie.

An absolutely perfect cafe! All the pastries I had there were fresh and delicious. Yesterday I had one of the best tiramisus: not overly sweet, light, airy, satisfying... Their coffee is excellent as well. The outside sitting area is cozy and provides a pleasant setting for a solo lunch, a coffee with a friend or a moment of inner tranquility over a cup of tea (an impressive selection of which is available). It is one of my favorite spots in Capitol Hill/Eastern market.

Everytime I stop by "Eastern Market" [plug] I enjoy stopping into Radici for real Italian Coffee and one of the best oatmeal cookies i have had in a while. The staff and owner are a joy.
Additionally, the selection of Italian wines is excellent for such a small shop. So, if you are ever in DC stop by and be transported to Italty without needing a passport.

I was disappointed by the way the staff treated customers who asked to use the restroom. When they were desperate to use a restroom when the public one was closed, a staff member said “just go beg someone in the market to let you use theirs” rather than letting customers use the employee bathrooms. Just seems pretty inhumane.

My go to café in Eastern Market. Delicious apple strudel, and decent cappuccino. 4 stars because the only free milk is dairy, and I was charged $1 extra for oat milk, totaling an already expensive $4 cappuccino to now $5. Also, if you buy a bottle of wine, they charge you $5 to open it.
