I love this place! It is very cute and clean inside, and a perfect place to work. Also, there are unique products and foods you would not expect to find anywhere else in the city. Highly recommended!
Very cute place, great cappuccino and tasty feta stuffed pastry. Worth waiting for if there happens to be a line. Personable staff. Also, great product selection for Turkish goodies from coffe, juice and tea to cheeses, meats and brewing equipment.
This place is the best for coffee lovers. The Ambiance is relaxing and warm. They offer Delicious quality coffee and they also serve a variety of fresh Homemade baked goods and desserts. They even have nice breakfast / lunch sandwiches. The Barista is always warm and friendly. The spot is cozy and music in the background was a nice touch. If you have time, check out upstairs(2nd floor ) you can find a Turkish market that has authentic foods and unique goods. Prices are very reasonable too. Strongly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it.
Me and my friend had simit, cheese pohaca, and also potato borek, I just wanna say that the SIMIT was the best across all the America that I have eaten so far. As a Turkish person who knows Turkish culture and food very well the simit was the best !! I would def suggest everyone to hey that everything else was great as well :) great location great atmosphere
I often stop here for an Illy cappuccino. Yesterday my husband and I had a delicious birthday lunch sat outside enjoying the sunshine. I had asked the owner to reserve a table, which they were happy to do. We chose grape leaves, chickpea salad and a hot dish similar to lasagna finishing off with baklava. All delicious and served with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run business.
Great little cafe. It is also a Turkish market where you can get all the Turkish food items your heart desires. Had a cheese roll pastry and Turkish coffee; both were delicious. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood!
Love this place! I drove over today not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I lived over five years in Turkey and found everything I needed/wanted to make some of my daughters favorite Turkish dishes. I can't wait to return and stay for tea and simit.
Wanted to get out of the suburbs for a little bit with the family. Decided to check out a new cafe I heard about in the city on Wisconsin Ave.. Janti Cafe was really impressive. The customer service was top notch. The illy coffee I had was excellent. They recommended their Panini sandwich which was perfectly toasted and blended with the melted cheese. I then topped it off with the Baklava and it was out of this world. It was not too rich yet the sweetness of honey mixed with chop nuts makes my mouth water just thinking about it again. Excellent service, great food, coffee, great location, very cozy feel in the middle of the city. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee and something good to eat. Definitely coming back.
Very welcome addition to the Neighborhood! I tried a Panini and a piece of chocolate cake, both were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff there were very helpful in assisting me with the choices they have on the menu I'm not familiar with Turkish food but everything looked really good.I can't wait to try a different item on my next visit. Definitely recommend this spot!
