Wonderful cute little coffee shop with quick and friendly service. Almond milk latte was perfect for a a fall morning walk. They even have a self service printer if you need to print a page or two for .19. Will be back for some whole beans soon!

Great place to get a cup of coffee friendly and good service thank you

This has quickly become one of my go-to places. Sitting area isn't huge, so this is best for a to-go cup, but there is always a table open if you want it. Coffee is superb, and the prices aren't bad. As it heats up, the iced lattes have become a staple on top of brewed coffee. Plus I love their muffins - not a lot of selection, but they always taste fresh. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Those lucky enough to call this coffee shop their local have my envy. Behind this unassuming façade on Georgia lies a true bastion of quality coffee. Leave it to Ethiopia to provide the benchmark for coffee transcendence, and Harrar executes in both variety and excellence. Lined against the back wall are a dozen simple samovars, all filled with fresh brews ranging from the delicacy of tea to the strength of gasoline. Take your pick, marvel and the unfathomably low price point, and enjoy multiple cups.

Delicious house-roasted coffee, pleasant people working there, and a teeny but comfy seating area. There are also a few tables and bar seating in the front -- it's definitely not spacious but I've never had trouble getting a seat. They have WiFi and a limited pastry selection but no kitchen. It's a cute spot that they've obviously put some real effort into making nice, and I'm really happy to have it in the neighborhood. Bonus points for being open later into the evening then most coffee shops in Shaw/Bloomingdale/Columbia Heights/eastern U Street.

This is the best coffee I've had in DC. I keep it simple with their cold brew and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly. It's a no frills kinda neighborhood spot situation. They also lowkey have bomb baked goods.

Great little local coffee shop, though little is the operative word. It's kinda cramped, but the coffee is good and reasonably priced. It's not somewhere I want to sit and work on my laptop (though I see people who do) but it's great when I need coffee quick. They also roast their own beans which is pretty cool!

Was in here randomly when I was helping my sister move. The coffee was OK. I would prefer going here over Starbucks, but I think the latte was too foamy and it kind of ruined everything for me.
Good place to talk to a friend while waiting.
I feel like their coffee would be better as just straight espresso.

A small coffee shop with delicious coffee. The desserts are yummy and huge. The almond croissant is better than most I've had with a really food filling. Service is friendly.
There's wifi and 10 or 25 cent printing

Various flavors of Ethiopian coffee: Harrar, Yirgacheffe, Limu, etc. They roast and brew coffee infront of you. I enjoy the smell of fresh roasted coffee always before sipping my favorite Harrar Coffee. Superb friendly service looks to be the standard!
