When getting to the register to place my order, I asked for a breakfast sandwich on a gluten free roll. The cashier immediately told me they don't have gluten free rolls. Directly behind her, on the board over her head was written *Ask about our gluten free rolls* I said, Um... okay. She then yelled to the back if they had them and a voice yelled back that they do. I asked if the mocha actually had three shots in it and she told me to "ask this guy right here. He's the coffee guy." After 2min of answering questions I wasn't asking, I got an answer. LOL After paying, the cashier says, "We only have ONE egg and you both ordered egg, so one of you doesn't get an egg." I swear to God, I could not stop laughing. I was offered cookies to make up for the difference between the egg sandwich and a bagel w/cream cheese. (Which came in a cup) All-in-all my sandwich was good, my coffee could have been much better, but the service felt like I was ordering at a circus. Good laugh, though.

Go there. All the girls there are great. The pastery is to die for. . I'm hooked on the oatmeal. You need to check this coffee shop out.

My favorite place to get breakfast at the beach hands down! All their pastries are very delicious and I enjoy the coffee very much as well. My only wish is that they would make more pocket pastries so they don’t sell out so quickly! Because they are just THAT good

*Update:
The last few times I’ve been have been disappointing. They are always sold out of everything by 11 am and the coffee isn’t the best anymore. Not sure if I’ll be frequenting as much

The food was delicious!! Best avocado toast I’ve had and the coffee was tasty. However, the lady taking orders was extremely rude. Yelling and shouting at customers. Obviously had ZERO customer service training.

Perfect place to stop for a cup of coffee on the way to the beach. The location was nice and convenient for me and I enjoyed the decor inside as well. They had a nice selection of baked goods and sweets as well. I settled with a latte and cinnamon bun. The coffee and food alone were fine but together they really hit the spot. Staff was also very friendly and I enjoyed their coffee-centric t-shirts. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The iced coffee was amazing. The food we had was good, though not so good that I would be craving to come back again for it. The bagel I had was toasted well, but a bit too salty (the dough was, not saltiness from the topping) and they give one serving of cream cheese on the side which was not nearly enough for my preference. That's on me because I didn't check before we left. And we ordered two chocolate croissants but were given one chocolate and one almond instead. One person got a hot pocket sandwich with bacon and eggs in a croissant. The croissant was done perfectly. The filling was just fine. Final verdict: I'd stop in for the coffee, and I'd eat there again but wouldn't make a special trip just for the food.

My parents recommended The Point. So, my wife and I went there for breakfast. Excellent homemade waffles! I got berries on mine. My wife got chocolate chips. Plenty of toppings on both. I enjoyed a side of bacon too. Plenty of coffee drinks. The baked goods looked great - we'll have to go back to try some out.

This is a mixed review. First the atmosphere and staff are great. Super nice and helpful.

Their coffee is ok and their pastries are great. If they stuck with that I'd give them a 4 or 5 star.

Unfortunately like so many restaurants they try to extend beyond what they do well at the cost of quality.

We had a quiche that was cold. And a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Everything they could have messed up about the breakfast sandwich they did. Bagel was not fresh and not locally made, cheese wasn't melted, bacon was rubbery instead of crispy, and the eggs were microwaved. Microwaved eggs are the worst.

Stick with what you do well of the customers are asking for something that you can't do well direct them to something you do well instead of compromising on quality.

We have purchased baked goods from the Point for a few years, excellent. Bought a cherry crumb pie last week at the Point stand at a local farm market. Very disappointed, loaded with sugar, poor flavor, and expensive ($20). Not worth the money.I believe they used canned fruit.

Fresh bakery, delicious waffles but a bit chaotic when ordering. But absolutely worth it.
