I dont like to leave bad reviews but this being on the beach and businesses can be competitive you guys need training and get your assembly line down. With only 1 person after me and a small door dash order it took 25 min to make 2 bagels. There was no one in store except person after me. The name "turtle" fits the business. You had plenty of TP in the bathroom but zero paper towels. One of the girls had a food glove on one hand and not the other. She was also eating a muffin here and there with both hands. Please dont prepare my food with your hands as they have been by your mouth. I think the proportions for a bagel are too big. 2 sausage patties and like 3 eggs is too much. Seemed like everyone behind the counter was under 18 no adults? Also the store does not seem functional, clear area when you walk in and make it seating or self serve coffee while people wait 20-30 min

Understandable that they’re slightly understaffed due to the pandemic, but both individuals who took care of us did not have a pleasant tone at all. They seemed very irritated when we were ordering (an açaí bowl and small drip coffee). We were 1/3 small groups in the cafe at at the time. The most bothersome aspect was the lack of cleanliness. Crumbs on all of the counters behind the register and multiple cartons of milk and perishable goods sitting out the whole time we were there (15ish minutes). The individual who was at the register was eating while they took care of us, and picked their teeth with their nail after we had stepped away. The quiches were plastic wrapped in the fridge and looked like they had been there for quite some time.
I feel for them because of the pandemic, but their attitudes + lack of cleanliness are a real downer. At least the coffee and bowl were good!

Rude owners and the food is average and overpriced. Do not eat here. They need to go out of business for being jerks to their customers.

This cafe is one of our favorite places at Bethany Beach! Their açaí bowls, breakfast sandwiches and coffee are amazing! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

My family and friends enjoyed the yummy crab cake sandwiches. The young lady with the dreadlocks was such a treat! She did a great job taking our order and bringing it to our table in a timely fashion. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

The coffee here is mediocre if your looking for a good coffee this is not the place to go you can tell the espresso shots are burned and not done correctly. The staff here is very rude and inconsiderate. If you want a good coffee at Bethany Beach go to 3BB cafe.

I am going with 3 stars only because my daughter loves the idea of the place (we have been getting breakfast here for the last 3-4 years) and the food is good, when it is right. We ordered online last week for the first time, and you would think since it is in print, you would get what you ordered. Both sandwiches were ordered with white bread but received with seed/grain bread - my daughter tried but passed in the end, I was not happy either. We also had a pickup time sent in email but my wife waited for an additional 10-15+ minutes after that. For $40 you get 2 egg sandwiches, a small fruit cup and 2 coffees - it probably should be a correct order. Rough deal and not sure if we will go back.
