I tried Mocha today! Amazing very soft. The muffin delicious, very low sugar taste ❤️

There is zero service mindset here. No clear lines and after I ordered, the girl making drinks had to come back 3 times to ask me what the order was, what size, and what milk (I provided her with all those info in one shot when I ordered). And I had to wait another 10 minutes to pay since the staff are all busy chatting with other people. Not to mention this is 2022 and this place doesn’t take ANY cards and no signs warning you it’s cash only. Meanwhile I saw a handful of people came in who just said hi to the staff and got their drinks for free (friends of the owner?). Oh, and of course, the coffee tasted burnt and completely undrinkable. The girl making drinks was spooning milk foams into the drink for some reason, not professional at all.

Best coffee I have had in the Southern CT area. The cinnamon hazelnut was AMAZING and my friend couldn't stop raving about the Carmel nut. They have limited selections to drink in store (wish there were a few more options) but had what seemed like millions of bean flavors to take home. Will definitely be back :)

We were looking for a cafe, glad to find this local small one. Happy to support small business owners. They have coffee beans on site, do their own coffee. Seating is limited.

Great shop and what an amazing community supporter. They sponsor the yearly Caffeine and Carburetors car event in front of their shop. Over the years it has grown to a major event taking up all of downtown. Pictures are 2017

Sorry commuters, they open at 7:30 weekdays and accept cash only like they’re trying to avoid paying taxes, because honestly there is no excuse for claiming it’s credit card fees given the many options.

Coffee is decent and they have a lot of variety (sometimes a bad thing). But a CASH ONLY coffee shop is ridiculously inconvenient. I would go more often but I, like the rest of us under the age of 65, don't ever carry cash.

We came here and got an iced oat milk latte and an iced almond milk latte. They used Almond Breeze and Planet Oat for these, and the lattes tasted so watery and underwhelming. These milks aren’t quality enough for commercial cafe use. I really recommend transitioning to barista blend Califia milks, Oatly, or other higher quality lines, people will notice and appreciate the difference! There are several products specifically for barista use that produce excellent flavorful alternative milk-based drinks. Using products like Almond Breeze in a cafe is just cheap and makes a poor pairing with good coffee.

I love the Coffee Beans from Zumbach's. I have pounds sent every month to me in Manhattan. The city has lost many good roasters so I rely on the excellence of their product and the kind voices that take my order. It's worth every penny to enjoy every sip.

Extensive list of fresh and varied coffee offerings, unhurried atmosphere and notably: cash or check only. But staff were kind enough to offer an IOU which we returned the following day with good ol’ American bills and coin.
