I just enjoyed one of the tastiest sandwiches ever. The pork with the apple slaw and balsamic cherry jam on focaccia bread was outstanding.
This paired well with the selection of Harney Teas (Paris blend, my fav!).
The staff couldn't have been nicer and the atmosphere for this roadside gem was clean and quaint. Just perfect!

The people are friendly, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the food is good. Everything was fresh and well prepared. They have gluten free muffins, brownies, meals. The only complaint I have is their parking lot. It's small, very cramped, and tough to maneuver within.

Take a word of advice from Apple cider "junkie" - the best apple cider I ever had in my life!! Out of this world, must try, visit just for that!!
Great atmosphere, amazing staff and delicious food. This is my favorite spot for breakfast as of right now!

Stopped in for some lunch today. I had a chicken and pesto sandwich with some fries and potato leek soup. Everything was bursting with flavor and delicious.

Well worth the visit and easily the best lunch in the area.

BEST BREAKFAST EVER! Do not pass go—head directly to the Mountainside Cafe for the most delicious breakfast I have ever had. The goat cheese omelet was sublime and everything we had was amazing! We were visiting from out of town for the weekend, and after a wonderful breakfast on Saturday, we had to go back there for breakfast on Sunday too! Why go anywhere else when the food at Mountainside Cafe is spectacular! When I walked in the second day, I was greeted by name and they even remembered my prior order. Lovely indoor or outdoor dining and the nicest proprietors!

If you are not local, don't bother coming here. Me and my husband visited this place 6 month ago, decided to get breakfast, service is not very friendly, and when I ate my bacon I found 3 pieces of black curly hair under the bacon. I would not eat anymore, we paid and left. It seemed strange that waitress never asked why the food was not eaten. I feel like it is because I am from another country. Never had such experience in my life.

Sarah (not sure if owner or manager) needs professionalism in handling customers. A gentleman was already inputting purchases onto cash register for take away of only coffee & a slice of brownie, then this lady, Sarah came out of the kitchen just blurted we’re closed & drove us out. A little rude, nasty & unfriendly. We’re visitors in the area & certainly sour our day. The cafe still has patrons seating & eating so find it odd to be so rude. Some kindness goes a long way
