We spent the weekend in Steamboat and visited CBC on Saturday and Sunday mornings to get our breakfast fix. Had great conversation with the staff, one of whom being the owner, which really made for a great experience. Communal, friendly, warm, and welcoming. Oh, and the bagels are delicious and there is a creative variety of spreads to choose from. Highly recommend! Please put Colorado Bagel Company on your to do list when you visit the Boat.

I went here religiously for an inexpensive lunch and ordered the same thing every time. They knew me and knew what I wanted without even asking. Granted that comes with repeat patronage. The new owners have changed the ambiance to cafeteria like atmosphere. Raised the prices. And They changed my favorite item which was their delicious chicken salad to a now unappetizing taste, even though the old owner told me he asked them not to do so. It looks like I’m not alone in my unhappiness with the change of proprietors. It’s a pity.

Food is excellent! Staff is also great except the new girl with super curly hair. All she did was complain when I was in there. Talking about "ugh another customer, I need a break". And she complained to that other customer about how she "hates making food for large families because there's only two sandwich makers, and not enough room". Anyway, it was bad vibes. Everyone else is amazing!

Bagels- average
Service- terrible
Owner- very cheeky
Bagel toppings- microwaved eggs and meats
Price- overpriced
Watched the owner refuse a customer his free bagel with a full punch card. Customer was nice and didn’t want to make a big deal about it. Owner said “you’re gonna get one anyway”. But why not then? That’s how a loyalty program works. Staff is mostly miserable and could care less. One girl was nice though! I’ve been here a couple times and keep telling myself not to go back but want to give them another chance. Gotta be the wealthiest bagel maker in the country. Two bagels, two sanpellegrinos= $18.00 🤔

Great bagels, clean store, friendly owner. These are not NY style bagels as they are smaller, but the new owner explained to me that they are "mountain style"! They are soft, chewy and full of flavor. Great coleslaw came with my sandwich and a free taste of chocolate bobka made my day. I will be back and I suggest you stop in and check out the Colorado Bagel Company.

Excellent and easy and uplifting! The bagels are good (especially in breakfast sandwich form). The staff is warm and welcoming. And the on-line ordering smooth. Totally recommend!

Steamboat is lucky to have this place. The bagels are absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Asiago Pepper... it’s drool worthy. They have a variety of spreads and bagels flavors to please any palette. My daughter loves the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Simple and yummy!! It’s a great place for a quick bite or to sit and relax with friends. The staff makes it feel lke home. The atmosphere is social and comfortable. I met the owners and they we’re both kind, passionate and enthusiastic about the food. They seem to know their returning customers. The service was excellent and the prices just right. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Best bagels west of the Mississippi! Great sandwiches to go make this a must-shop when we are in town from Durango. Vast selection, friendly staff...phone your order and have it ready to pick up at your convenience...this is a well-run operation!

Bagels seem to be good but they added a pound of cream cheese on our bagel, too much. My wife ordered me a bagels and lox, after I ordered I found it it was $9.20? I’ve been lots of places in this country and ordered this same sandwich and it has never cost more than a full entree at a fast casual restaurant. It didn’t even come with chips, or pickle or a drink for $9.20. Again, a pound of cream cheese which then drowned out the ingredients that I was paying such a huge price for. No thank you!
