I wasn't sure how good a coffee shop in a small town like Silverton would be, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. They were opened early and were moderately busy on the weekday morning I visited. The coffee was good and there was a selection of baked and savory breakfast items available.

Most amazing coffee shop we’ve been to! Super friendly staff, rooftop seating & great selection. Visit Silverton, CO and stop in at the Coffee Bear!

The coffee was good, the staff friendly, and the place was inviting. My only complaint was that the shop was overrun with flys. The bug zapper in the window was popping about every 15 seconds, but unfortunately, most of the flys were hanging out at the counter where a half dozen or so freshly baked muffins sat unattended. As I was waiting for the second half of my order at the counter, I could help but shoo the flys off of the muffins, but the girl behind the counter didn't seem concerned at all. That's disturbing to me.

Great laid back coffee shop with fantastic mountain views. Stop in and warm up. Espresso drinks are delicious. Staff is super friendly.

Excellent coffee, somewhat strange buttermilk tart, that didn't really taste of anything. Great venue with really helpful staff who were and to advise me on local hiking and the condition of the mountain passes.

Great coffee and a rooftop for the best views and people watching

Loved the atmosphere here and the coffee was excellent too! We absolutely loved the rooftop, fantastic place to enjoy your drinks and soak in the views Silverton has to offer.

What a lovely cozy place for a quick coffee or a long morning of work. Awesome coffee drinks made on a beautiful La Marzocco espresso machine (!!) and pretty impressive tea selection!

I am european and tend to be rather snobby when it comes to coffee. This place looked very inviting and I am glad i went in. Best coffee I had in all of Colorado. Friendly staff (mother and daughter?) and the food looked so inviting that I ordered some.
