Asked for bagel with cream cheese as on the menu list, an Umm and err later we were told he could give us a sachet of cream cheese and a blueberry bagel, we declined and opted for peanut butter bar and magic bar to go with our coffee. At $6 each bar this was overpriced. It was only when we sat down that we saw how dirty the place is. Soil on the floor that’s been there some time, thick layer of dust on the counter…

We stayed in Silverton for the weekend and found ourselves at Coffee Bear 2+ times per day. First off, the cafe is so cool - three stories of seating including a roof deck. I was able to find vegan breakfast and lunch options here that were actually satisfying. You can customize a smoothie (made fresh!!), grab oatmeal, and get a great vegan burrito.

Great place to sit and relax. Friendly atmosphere and nice location in middle of town. Pastries were delicious and coffee just right. Limited selection though.

Awesome coffee and more. We ordered a latte and a tea. They were great. We had our own sandwiches and they didn't mind us eating them in their establishment even though they serve food also. Very clean friendly, helpful, clean, polite. Couldn't ask for anything more.

My complaint is the food. People say the coffee is great but I’m a tea drinker. The breakfast burrito was TOTALLY over cooked. The tortilla was dry and over cooked in a panini press. The eggs were dry and over cooked. Probably a great place for coffee and a pastry but don’t trust the kitchen. It is shoulder season, so hopefully it was just the off-season employees.

Beyond 5 stars! This coffee shop is a dream of a find! The coffee is so smooth and delicious! I had a magic bar and for a few minutes I would have believed it was magic! Yum! The smoothie are sweet and refreshing. I would drive another 9 hours just to return to this coffee shop. The biggest treat is how pleasant and wonderful the bathroom is!! I know, of all things to review... But seriously it smelled like brown sugar and cinnamon and the seat was heated!

As soon as you walk in you get the amazing sensation of home and family. Coffee is hot and Blueberry Muffins are the best I have ever had. Stunning views from the roof top area and a must stop while in the beautiful San Juan Mountains .

Good bold coffee on a snowy late April morning. Excellent breakfast burrito. Fun place!!!

Fantastic service! Enormous burritos! Great coffee, tea, and even the muffins and pastries were delicious. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere that you'd expect from a small town. We stopped by for a late breakfast, and I'm glad we did. Would gladly come back again!

What a delightful spot, great coffee hang-out! I had a wonderful combo burrito and a cuppa (first refill free) in a ceramic mug, not paper. Dine-in bonus; coffee stays hot longer. Really enjoyed all of it; the food, coffee, the Wi-Fi and upstairs view of the street. This shop was not here on my last pass through Silverton. Glad I found it! The youngish guys who are running this spot bring an up-to-date vibe to this old mining town. Love it!
