I spent wayy too long hanging out here and was never pressured to buy more coffee or food by the staff. It was a great place to hang out and catch up on some work while I was traveling through, good music and a relaxed atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and smiling even before 9 in the morning! (Exactly what you need before your morning coffee).
The coffee here was tasty even though I only had a drip, and they even gave me a discounted rate on a refill.
There were day-old bagels which made for a great little breakfast for someone on a budget like me!

Visited this coffee shop while on a weekend getaway. I really appreciated their commitment to safely serve their customers in the times of covid-19. Super friendly staff and great coffee. We picked up some ground coffee to brew at home along with our to-go drinks.

Great bulletproof coffee and breakfast burritos! Right next to a water way made it a really nice walk to the vacation rental we were staying at! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice brew! My fiance had a shake and it was also very good! Will be stopping by again my next time through town!

Red Buffalo is the best Coffee shop in town for atmosphere, customer service and quality. Along with their extensive Coffee and Tea options, they also have a number of great breakfast and lunch items. They have friendly, competent staff who are very good about treating local regulars on a first name basis and remember their "usual. They are very helpful to tourists as well and serve as impromptu guides to the county.
UPDATE: 9/4/19
Depends on who's working. Tamara, Natalie and Erin are great. Can't say the consistent quality holds true with the others.
UPDATE 1/2/20
They've had a solid consistent crew for the last couple of months

The coffee is always great and the view from the back patio is beautiful. As a mom to a 4 legged furball, I also love how dog friendly the shop is. I brought a friend visiting from buffalo and she loved the lavender honey latte and is only disappointed that she hasn't found one equally good elsewhere.

Stopped in while visiting the area. Cute, locally owned coffee spot right on blue river. My nutty professor latte was delicious and you can’t beat a nice, winter stroll along the babbling river. Stop in and support local business. Yum!

Tried Red Buffalo since the Starbucks is always closed. Glad we did. So much better. Great little coffee shop.

My favorite coffee shop to visit whenever I’m in Summit County. Great coffee and tea selection.

This is one of my favorite coffee places in the Silverthorne area. It is one of the few that is actually open as early as 6am, so it's nice to grab a coffee and a bite on your way to work or ski. They have all the classic coffee drinks as well as their own unique flavors, including one of my favorites, the Nutty Professor. They buy their food from another company, but the items I've tried have all been delicious; definitely recommend the breakfast burritos! Prices are fair! The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and they offer free wi-fi. They have a cool little back patio next to the river to sit outside during the summer, and they sell cheap used books to help the local library. Overall a pretty cool, locally owned business with delicious coffee and a nice atmosphere!

Great coffee, good vibe. Loved the outdoor seating out back overlooking the river
