I loved this they where able to place us in a room on very short notice. The views around here are absolutely beautiful. It's like stepping back in time. We would most definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to Colorado. Its a wonderful bed and breakfast. Hope to come back soon.
Just a super cozy, historic, quirky, comfortable bed and breakfast nestled in the Colorado Rockies. Perfect place to rest your head as you're passing through Colorado, could also see it being super pleasant for a longer stay if you're exploring in the area.
Quaint, friendly family run. Eerie ghost town atmosphere. Worth $4 to visit museum and it's local fare.
Joint bathroom for all guests, everything creaks (get sound machine app for your phone), nice simple breakfast options provided by family. Can't beat it for price.
Cute small town which is what we are used to so we felt right at home. Owners are very educated on the history of the town and the building. Great family. Super friendly. Very helpful in anyway possible. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back to stay again sometime!
This place was really cozy and I enjoyed my stay and all the nice touches like the stocked breakfast nook and the front porch. But do keep in mind that this is a small b&b with very little privacy and squeaky floors. You can hear everything. The only real complaint I have is that the showerhead is just a showerhead on a hose in the tub and there’s no way to take a shower hands-free.
Awesome place. Lauren and Michael are over the top. Knock it out of park! Stayed 2 times in last month. On way back from Ritz-Carlton Vail/Beaver Creek after two days stopped and stayed for two more at their place. Man. Great place. Very comfortable and they care about their guest.
We were so bummed that our schedule didn't allow us to stay longer. The Windsor was perfect for a weekend getaway and was exactly what we needed: a quaint, historic place to stay. The staff was friendly and VERY engaging as were their dog and cat.
Lauren stayed up late so me and my boys had a place to sleep after a long drive. She definitely went above and beyond. The next morning after my boys met hers we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.
The Windsor Hotel is a charming old hotel transformed into a comfy B&B. Lauren is an excellent hostess who creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. We'd love to stay again if we are in that part of Colorado.
Came across this charming B&B on our road trip to Vegas...so excited to stay here! And bonus points for the simple fact that Thomas Edison & Nikolai Tesla stayed here before us! Can't wait to explore the town in the morning & add our own journal entry!!
