Don’t stay here. The owner of the home told me how she’s excited to turn people away because of the massive amounts of drug usage here. I waited in my room for an hour or so to see if it would be comfortable and noticed a continuous banging on the window and walls. I can’t sleep with that and left. Asked for a refund and she told me I contaminated her house with antique furniture and that I’ll be charged full price. -_-Muffins in the kitchen had mold on them.
The power went out.

Cool place, with lots of character. Can't have been a flat floor in the building! Very comfy bed. Don't come expecting all amenities in your own room - it's a shared bathroom and breakfast room/lounge with microwave etc. - but give me this over an anonymous modern hotel any day of the week. A very enjoyable stay.

The Windsor Hotel in silver plume Colorado is a page out of time. The rooms are done Tastefully in Antiques the atmosphere is congenial and Lauren and her family are a welcoming and a kind presents. This to me is a true Colorado Mountain experience. There is easy access to the local ski resorts and the hiking right there in town is phenomenal. In nearby Georgetown there are several restaurants each unique and the food is great. If you are looking to get away from the typical touristy sterile chain hotels this is the place for you. I have stayed at the Windsor on several occasions and intend on coming back. I can recommend this establishment without qualification.

This place is very old. Wonderful antiques and other decor. The floors are very uneven but that's ok. We had the best night of sleep ever. Their breakfast they offer is served in the parlor. You have several items to choose from plus homemade potato, egg, cheese, veggie muffins. We felt so comfortable there, and the Silver Plume railroad loop and mine tour is within walking distance and makes for a very fun day.

The hotel was old but very tastefully decorated. For example, I found it amusing that the stairs slanted down to the left but had new carpet. There is one toilet and one sink/tub room for 6 rooms to share. However, I never had a problem having to wait a long time for either. The amenities were fabulous. There were tissues in every room, mouthwash and mini paper cups in the bathroom, and plenty of towels. The breakfast was similar to a typical continental breakfast except a little better. There was Simply Orange orange juice, dairy & non-dairy milk, and freshly baked mini-quiches. There were Glade plugins in the hallways, which were pretty strong when we first got there. Because it was summer, we were able to open the windows in our room and the smell of the plugins didn't bother us anymore. The bed was comfortable and I slept better than I often do at home. I would be happy to stay there again.

Excellent place to stay for skiing/snowboarding. Michael and Lauren are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Rooms are on the small side, but still comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Super cute but don’t come expecting a corporate hotel experience. Historic units in a historic town. The sign on the wall says that Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, and Muhammad Ali have been in the hotel. Super close to Georgetown.

On the way up, the owner texted my wife asking when we expected to arrive and provided additional details. Pretty cool.

Definitely unique!

Stumbled upon this very cute lil hotel father's day weekend 2020 and fell in love. It was late and didnt wanna spend a lot and I found this place on Google maps. Checked it out and started booking a room and some things seemed a lil sketchy like (no lobby?) (Self check in) and message system but like I said it was late I did t care. Just wanted a place to lay my head so I went with it. Let me all tell you what I'm so frickin glad I did. This is an amazing place. Definitely unique in a very awesome way. As soon as I walked in the front door I felt a warm welcoming presence and almost as all the BS in the world was gone. As I walked threw the halls and my room I could feel a presence, but it wasn't a spooky or uneasy feeling at all, more of a ur safe here feeling. Our stay here is definitely a memory that will last a lifetime. Keep up the amazing work your doing there and we will for sure be back next time we are in the area and recommending to everyone we know!!

Well taken care of for its age. Housekeeper does a great job. Homey feel to it. Attracts nature lovers and hard working people together. Loved the bed. Was a comfortable experience and decent value. Will be returning.

Love this place!!! It's a must stay!!!
But remember, this ain't your typical hotel. It's tucked in the mountains, in a very small town, conveniently of I-70, with no immediate accommodations (just a miles drive to Georgetown), so eat before!
But who gives??? Just stock up on munchies... There's a dispo right next door that has Dank GUDZ...!!!
Blaze the trail my fam-TOKEN-damly...
