I usually try really hard not to give businesses three stars or under, because I see Google Reviews as a means to boost a businesses traffic.
I ordered the DeGrizzle, an iced Americano, and an apple turnover. My total came to $14.26
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐จ was very bitter, I roast my own beans and extract my own espresso for my americanos daily so I have a bit of knowledge in the area. They either gave me old coffee, didn't dial in their espresso machine, used bad beans (possibly ones I just didn't like), or reused the same grounds. I am aware that usually when you ice hot coffee it brings the chemical reaction to a halt a lot quicker, and thus speeding up it becoming bitter, but this just tasted bad. I can't say anything about what their hot coffee tastes like or what their sweet coffee drinks taste like because I didn't order them, but based on the Americano I probably wouldn't get anything coffee related again.
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ was good, to my taste it was very flavorful, the cheese and bacon added dimension and the croissant was a perfect level of crispy flakiness! I would definitely recommend it. Definitely the redeeming part of my meal.
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ I HATE to say was definitely a 2/5. I almost want to pour hot coffee into my eyes having to say that Arby's serves a better one (maybe a tad dramatic but you get the point, I don't like fast food restaurants). The pastry part was super dry, it wasn't really flaky, you could tell they put some sort of sugar on top but it was almost flavorless. There wasn't any flavor until you hit the middle, which was cold apples. The filling was a 3/5 to me.
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ญ๐๐๐ were nice enough but you could tell they weren't really digging the job. Which I can understand, they decided to close the inside of the shop because of COVID which is completely understandable and completely in their own right, but that means all of their customers are waiting in a long line outside in the burning sun, so they have to deal with hungry and hot guests all morning. Just a sad realty of COVID that I won't give them grief for.
I will also mention that they do not have a whole lot of reviews and I was kind of sickened when somebody gave them a low review because they refused service for them for not wearing their mask to the door. There are signs posted all around the building that says that they won't service you if you don't have a mask, and I understand that completely, they should not be bashed for wanting to be safe, it's up to every business right now exactly how they want to treat COVID-19. That was just a side note. It's not that hard, don't be stubborn.
I don't think you're really missing anything if you don't go here, but if you're hungry and willing to wait and a line outside by all means give it a try, I'm pretty sure this is one of the only places open for breakfast in the morning, so I can definitely thank them for feeding people at least.

Great baked goods and friendly workers. We walked in right at closing time but they welcomed us and let us stay until weโd finished. Recommended stop in Ouray.

Wonderful place to stop for a quick to go breakfast. The people who work here are super friendly and their food is delicious.

Wow - incredibly rude service & mediocre food. Unfortunately chose this place over another breakfast option down the street. Waited in line after eating our sandwiches to speak to the guy taking orders at the window and he informed me he was indeed the owner and that he deals with rude customers all day so itโs easy to get annoyed. This was after he sarcastically called the lady in front of me โthe best customer of the dayโ when her coffee order was ready.
3/10 for food.
1/10 customer service.

Croissant sandwich was delicious but the service was very cold. Not friendly or welcoming at all.

Tasty pastries and good coffee even at 11:40. A nice stop in Ouray!

Go early to get some of the most delicious pastries in Ouray. Their coffee is delicious as well and I feel like everyone is so friendly. It is one of our favorite places to grab a bite for breakfast while in town.

Everything was delicious. The bagels were fresh. The cherry bar was amazing. I came here my first day visiting and made sure to stop the next. I'd go here every morning if I lived here! I only wish they had more bread options. I wanted to try their garlic bread but they had a limited menu due to COVID so they only made one type per day. You won't regret going here. I'd try to go early, when I went at 930 they were already sold out of a few items.

The food was okay but let me tell you how rude and impatient the guy taking our order was. On the menu I got โThe breakfast sandwichโ which is its own thing and there is multiple breakfast sandwiches but that one is actually called the breakfast sandwich anyways I said that and he asked which one and when I wasnโt sure I could tell he was getting frustrated because I didnโt know what kind of bagel I wanted right away and when he had to change what he wrote he slammed the paper bag down to write something else and was very short and unprofessional. Will not be going back to that business as much as I love ouray
