We stopped in on a whim! We love browsing for books and enjoyed the memorable conversation. The gentleman working there provided friendly conversation and great suggestions. I can’t wait to go back!

Fun and funky local bookstore, coffee shop and ice cream parlor. Eclectic collection of old and new books, locally hand crafted goods, rotating selection of locally made ice creams, locally roasted coffee, good breakfast burritos, homemade brownies, indoor and outdoor seating. It's a popular place with a cozy atmosphere, so be ready to wait a little bit for service, but it's worth it.

Alexandria Stanley

Great place for good coffee, ice cream, and conversation.

Lovely atmosphere. Amazing assortment of books and journals/notebooks, fantastic ice cream. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

If this allowed ZERO stars I'd give this place ten of them. Small place in a small town with small minded owners. Customer service and satisfaction is absent. All the so called woman worried about was having to pour a large five dollar coffee down the drain due to it being so burnt, that sugar nor creamer could make it better. We are visiting the area, decided to stop and buy local to support their community, walked into a tiny coffee, ice cream, and book shop, and literally there was no room to even read their menu. Very few people made it crowded, and they were treated a whole lot better than we were. Locals. The owner's friends. The same woman who whined about pouring burnt coffee down the drain. ZERO customer service. Her proper response SHOULD have been , "I'm sorry. I can make a fresh pot OR perhaps you'd like a latte instead?" But.

NOPE

She whined about her overpriced coffee.

I do NOT recommend.

This adorable spot had a fantastic variety of books. The ice cream was pretty delicious, too. I got one scoop pf the Salted Caramel Oreo with a shot of expresso poured over. My only regret was that I got only one scoop instead of two, as the scoop was smaller than I anticipated. I'll definitely be back again and I'll make sure to get two scoops.

Very personal, very tasty, very comfortable environment. Brownies were excellent, and reminded me of baking at home. Books could be better organized (alphabetically rather than just by genre) but staffing seems to be slim so I understand. Best cafe in Nederland, but with some staffing the store could open earlier as well and be the best café in Colorado.

My kind of bookstore! A crazed, wild jumble of weird books, fun to browse and all but guaranteed to reward a diligent seeker. The coffee was solid, and if my kids are any guide, so is the ice cream. Definitely stop in if you're passing through Ned.

Lovely little boutique with a great range of books, some crafts, ice creams and snacks. We stopped off for a delicious spicy chai and some directions - the lady who served us was a delight and lifted our spirits after some dicey driving through the snow.
