Beautiful space with good wifi to catch up on life. Everywhere else was packed in the morning, but there was plenty of room here. Outdoor patio, but I recommend the indoor upstairs area.

Our family ordered five different meals, and all five were excellent.

Staff were very nice.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Terrible owner/manager. $42 for two people. One had a breakfast, eggs and waffles, the other turkey sandwich. Two teas. Better be the best food I ever had for that price.
Gets worse. Long wait and not busy. Kids running the place.
I know it’s tuff times but if you’re gonna charge crazy high prices,, service and food should match.
The best part…. We left without getting our food and I even told the owner to keep the money.
As a restaurant owner, I feel the pain but this is wacked. Consider a new profession. This is what gives independent restaurants a bad name.

Great breakfast and lunch spot, and one of the nicest places in Leadville in terms of atmosphere. The upstairs dining room is bright and cozy with games and local art displayed. My only gripe is that the coffee is pretty terrible and WAY overpriced. Should be $1.50 or $2.00, and instead it’s around $5 for just regular drip coffee that tastes like Folgers. Eat here, just don’t waste your money on coffee.

Good breakfast, lunch, mochas and pastries

I’ve had better experiences here before, but after getting breakfast here with my family today, it’s a safe call to say im never returning. The salmon was canned, not fresh smoked, and tasted horrible. My burrito meal that comes smothered in chili and cheese came absolutely dry, no cheese inside either. The eggs for the Benedict were severely over cooked, and the crepes were crusty and hard from being cooked too long. At least the service was good and the wait staff were (mostly) friendly.

Food Was AMAZINGLY delicious. Went in yesterday Sunday morning round 8am, only one lady working the counter, running food making coffee and much more, she was awesome very friendly answered all our questions made our caramel lattes perfect even put caramel drizzle on top of foam! All around very good experience and fabulous food will return! We highly recommend Silver Llama.

Order can never be received and delivered right, always errors unfortunately. Crowded counter with lots of girls stepping on each other but none of them are servers, it’s a do it yourself place and with that many people there are always mistakes in the orders. Food is descent but not a wow to pay $17 per person but for Colorado I guess it’s expected at this point. Nice outdoor sitting area and because there are no other breakfast places in Leadville this is as good as it gets. Ladies at the counter though always seem to have some attitude about them, not happy, not welcoming either, like there is bitterness in the air, not sure why…

I have come here for breakfast/lunch several times and I have always really enjoyed it. It’s a cute spot with a nice atmosphere and we enjoy visiting here with local friends and out of town family alike. Tonight we came for their soft opening for dinner and we were so impressed. They had Italian food options which were absolutely delicious ( I tried the chicken Marsala and my husband the eggplant parm) and as people from upstate NY originally, it will totally fill the void for Italian food that we’ve sorely missed! I can’t wait to come back and support all the people who work so hard here!

Well, if expensive eats with slow service is your thing, this is your place. In a relatively empty restaurant on a weekday our lunch took 1 hour to prepare. By the time it arrived we were angry and starving. Food was ample, server was apologetic.
