Stopped in during a road trip and loved everything we got from this unassuming little cafe. Orange sherbet ice cream, chai milkshake, tamales, cookies and cream ice cream in a chocolate waffle cone. Amazing. Though it looked dated inside, it was clean. Bathrooms available for customers, reasonably clean. Two nice cafe tables outside with umbrellas.

I wouldn't come back. There is one person working, who I'm assuming is the wife and another person, who I assume is the husband, just sitting there. Even if there is a line, he doesn't offer to help. The service is super super slow. Multiple people complained outside and directly to the lady.
I ordered the pork tamales. There was nothing special. The flavor didn't wow me and they were small. I would need to put in three orders before being full.
We wound up walking to Buchis, down the street, for a proper breakfast.

I can recommend this place just know that you might be paying a premium and I’m not sure it’s worth it. Came here for a hot chocolate and it was really good. Nice little shop and friendly service. I took off a star just because they are priced a little high and there are other options elsewhere. For example I got an equally delicious hot chocolate on the mountain at the ski resort for about 25% less than they charged here.

Decent selection of ice cream and gelato, about 15 total flavors. A little pricy for the amount you get though (single cone is a little under $5).

Didn’t know I was craving a classic pretzel with cheese until I walked by. Nostalgic and delicious. It was definitely on the pricier side but worth it

When in Leadville, I highly recommend this little coffee/ice cream shop. In my opinion these gals have better breakfast burritos and better customer service than the popular Coffee shop in town. The popular coffee shop is always packed and the owner who is typically operating the till seems to always be angry (maybe she is too busy?)

A great selection of coffee, gelato, and ice cream, but quite over priced. The options of nachos, pretzels, popcorn, and other gimmicky, cheap carnival-food style items is an interesting business decision. Obviously only in business as a result of being the only ice cream option nearby.
Read a review discussing the poor service. It was accurate. Staff was very dismissive and not helpful. If you’ve been thinking of establishing an ice cream startup, choose Harrison Ave in Leadville.

Lame cappuccino that did not taste anything like it had an espresso inside (rather filter). My wife went up to them and they actually admitted that they forgot to put a proper shot in. The banana nut muffin was good, so was the ice cream (non home made) at quite a high price. Staff was not really friendly and the wifi code handed out did not work. There are definitely better places in this town to spend your money.

We came in and got breakfast and coffee spent about 50$. My little sister didn’t really like her coffee so she wanted to order a smoothie. She asked the lady for a smoothie she rolled her eyes and said “give me a sec.” Keep in mind we are the only people in there besides one gentleman who walked in while we were eating. He asked if they had any muffins etc before he had saw the display and the lady literally rolled her eyes at him too…. She helped him and then my little sister is still standing there waiting for her smoothie and she looks at her and says “did you need something..” my sister said “yeah… my smoothie… “ and then she rang her up and it was $4 more than what the sign said.. We said never mind and took our money elsewhere. SUPER RUDE. We were excited to come back and try the gelato and tamales but we will not be spending any more of our money in there.

The raspberry gelato is tasty. Unfortunately the customer service was horrible! The prices are also high. They were extremely rude. We were the only ones there choosing flavors when one other group walked in, the workers rudely told us to hurry up and pick and that they had a business and needed to make money. We had ordered 4 gelatos at $8-12 each. Also, most gelato shops allow a taste when choosing, they were very curt about it and said no!
